. I've just had an idea for X-Terminator. Kinda similar to what I did with Comengetorix, would you be able to make the top chassis shape, and then put a series of Flippermaker components around the bottom?
It's stock...
I was referring to Sonny's rep. =P

Why don't I build anything anymore? 799.2, Plastic 1, 4 ants. Fully invertible, slight AGOD on one of the drums, doesn't affect stability.

I'm a success story here. Me and my girlfriend both live in Scotland (Fife/Barrhead), and we've been together for almost five years so far. =D

I never really cared for Pussycat. It just... Bugs me
The idea that he always landed on his .... paws.... was cool though.
Yeah. It definitley was unique. I also hated Diotor. It was just silly. Why would you put Fur on a robot when you KNOW it will be put in a arena with flames?
FOR FUN. THAT IS WHY THIS SPORT EXISTS.
This. Hence why if I ever do get around to learning how to build a robot, it shall be painted in bright colours and have a smiley face on the front. I always liked the teams that had some sort of gimmick, like Nemesis, Plunderbird, Sir Chromalot, even Robochicken. They brought such a lot of fun to the sport, I would love for that aspect of it to be brought back.

And you got that chassis shape how?
That is an insanely good replica. =D Nice work, Sonny, as always.

They tried some new motors in Series 6/Extreme 2, and they kept burning out. Maybe that was the problem.

That's quite debatable. I think it could have survived the crushing arm, but Razer could probably push it around if it had four, or even all six wheels off the ground.

Mag Snappers are quite bad. Same as BSG's, just heavier.

They don't come across as cluster<expletive>s if they're built well. Chances are if it's a random mish-mash of components it's going to be horrible in combat, and worse to look at. Such as Wrecktangle. A well-built anything goes bot can be a properly good machine, such as Frosty The Snow-Bot or possibly Enterprise.

the most unrealistic bot possible?
no, if there were no restrictions, then it would be less interesting.
I disagree with this, it actually is a great incentive to build ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING YOU WANT. Just take a look at the previous No Restrictions BOTM's we've had, one was won by a spaceship with laser guns on turrets, and another was won by a giant icicle-wielding snowman.

Micro Wheels are a BAD choice. I'd swap them for either Wide Ant Wheels or Minis, depending on what you want to use the spare weight for. I'd try and protect the disc with something underneath, if that goes, you have no drive or stability.

Nice bump.
I like the clusterbot idea, but I also really liked the prohibition of certain components aspect of this month's BOTM. =D Banning certain weapons or extenders would force builders into using components that they wouldn't normally look at, and give us a different style of robot than we're used to in the Showcase section.

So it has come to this... well NFX, may the best bot win. :)
May the best bot win, Urjak. =) If there was one bot I'd be happy to be eliminated by, it'd probably be yours. A slight side note, I really need GK to end up on my side of the brackets. Virus Bomb'll take off my weapon motor straight away, but I should be able to take off the side panels or poly extenders with Fretless. Or even get a OHKO on the exposed chassis if I'm lucky.

Not bad. What kind of rally challenge was it?

It seems my robot's actually quite stable when a motor gets taken off, at least in terms of Havok. Match 1: Sort of as expected. Quick and painless. Match 2: A few surprising moments, and a pretty close fight. But, again, as to be expected. Match 3: That was a genuinely scary match for me. I thought I was going to throw myself OOTA in Round 2 after my wheel came off. Thankfully he never got to my weapon motor. Good match. Match 4: As expected, sort of. Put up a good fight, but was just too fragile in the end. Flipper, against Rammer, should theoretically win. But I'm not certain the Side Panels will hold, and I'm wanting Red to do well. Myself against Urjak should be a genuinely good, close match. My only worries are if his upper razors take my weapon motor off, or if he manages to get round the back. It's odd how neither of us think we're going to win, as I've said. Good luck to him, though.

Been going reasonably well, I reckon. Blades of Fury splash is up, and I've been surging through the Clash Cubes IV Loser's Bracket. =D
