Another noobish question, but I never thought i would want to shorten a chassis any farther than in the game. How do you do this? Step by step instructions would be great.

I bet it won't help a 24kb/s dial-up connection. I am running on that and it sucks severely. We're talking a 30 second video on Youtube taking 20 minutes to load or downloading a 3 minute song in 45 minutes... My maximum transfer rate is 3 kb/s on Limewire.

I was thinking that myself... I think he might have made a new username.

Is there any possible way to prevent AGODing in flailed weapons? Every bot I build in DSL with flails always AGODs.

Hello! Welcome to the forums! You may want to go ahead and get DSL 2.1... A link to a complete install can be found in Sage's and Naryar's signatures. Sorry to say but there really isn't much online play anymore, but there are many online AI tournaments in which to compete. About the robot, if you have built it in an unmodded version of RA2 the saws aren't very good, so your bot may be fairly weak in comparison to some of them here. Start a showcase in the Stock Showcases section and show us what you have so far. We can give you lots of tips on better building techniques. Have fun with RA2!

Yeah, I found that out after I was complaining about the game crashing while having an unsaved SHW. Luckily someone told me this. I was very happy to find that out.

I'll give it a try... I've got a halfway decent stock MW built.

Not that big of a bump, actually... We had a member that used to always bump year(s) old threads, but he is banned now (He was extremely annoying and obnoxious).

Woah... So, basically what this proves is that the battery function in RA2 is completely unrealistsic and that everyones previous hypotheses about it were wrong?

It seems like Kritical Mass was bare metal... but it was a dark colored metal. I've seen a webpage for the robotics team that built Kritical Mass that had all kinds of nice information and some pictures, but I have no idea what the url was.

I drink Monster M-80... I only drink it because I like the pineapple flavor. Not because it's supposed to give you energy, or because it's "cool".

I actually know from first-hand experience that WWE type wrestling is fake... My brother got involved with a wrestling association in Illinois for a while. He built the ring. They are actually built to make as much noise as possible form the slightest hit. Also, they are very well padded. I can body slam my self on it all day and it doesn't hurt a bit. Some rings actually have microphones built-in underneith that they can hook to the speakers for extra drama. I went to one of the shows with my brother at one point to help set the ring up. They stage EVERYTHING! Down to actually planting antagonists in the crowd to egg people on. I did get to meet "Cowboy" Bob Orton out of the deal though.
