Shredder evolution, one of my replicas that was so bad I was too ashamed to post it when I joined.  This was before I understood how multiple extension points worked; I got the weapon motors to face upwards with baseplate anchors.  Also notice that I've tried to cram in as many pinks as I could.  Incidentally, since this is a replica, have a look at what I was trying to replicate:

alrighty I have made a decision to change the arena from a  reskinned RA2tt arena to a reskinned Combat Zone, just to make it fair for bots that are versus flipers.

Which one is the combat zone?  Is it the stock one that looks like the Battlebox?

Dear me, it looks like I'm up against one of the favorites...

EDIT: and should I miraculously win, it looks like the second round won't be any easier.  Oh well.

Reier, just so you know, "Resetti" is spelled with one S.

Soz if that's nitpicky, just thought I'd catch it before it was too late.

Drink Corona's with Lime when possible. Or Guinness!

Beer is Good.

Is it good for chasing down a burning hot baked potato with melted cheese?

Bill Nye the Science Guy?

*I miss that show...*

Good guess, but no.
Here, I'll give you the answer.  Below is the video of Blendo's farewell ceremony.  The guy at the mic is the organizer I was referring to.  See if he looks familiar:

That's right, it's Joel Hodgson, the man behind Mystery Science Theater 3000.  Interesting little piece of trivia, I think.

One of the men who Organized Battlebots?

Nope, this is a name that you definitely know if you know the thing he/she is known for.  And it's not Battlebots or Robot Wars, or any show like that.

what exactly was it that blendo broke off ? and did it actually hit someone or just the wall ?

That was a shard of Hercules's armor that Belndo ripped away and sent flying.  It hit the wall, not a person, but the arena wasn't fully enclosed, and there was a good possibility that Blendo could have thrown the shard over the wall and into the crowd of spectators.  That's why the had to ask Blendo to leave.

Guess who the organizer was that delivered the bad news to Jamie and Adam?  Go on, guess.  It's someone that I'd be surprised if most of the Americans didn't know, and it's such a neat little piece of trivia that I don't want to spoil it right away.

I didn't know Blendo was in Robot Wars.

I wonder what those judges would have thought about The Mortician's blade (or was it Brutality?) flying into the arena wall...

Blendo was on US Robot Wars, not the UK version with Sir Killalot and Craig Charles.  US Robot Wars was never televised, but one loyal fan kept his tapes that he recorded at the event.

Here's the fight that got Blendo banned from US Robot Wars, listen for a loud bang followed by an "OH!" it's the "playing card of death" hitting the wall:

Joe, I've just had a bunch of projects come up, and there's no way I'll be able to redesign my bot in time.  Forget what I said about modifying my entry, I'll keep it in the tourney as is.

Will the next one be in the Octagon too?  I'm thinking of entering with one of my early replicas.

Why couldn't they write down something besides a vague physical description, like, I don't know, a NAME???  That clerk could have easily given the money to the wrong Big fat black lady.

Would you look at that; tied at 7 apiece.  I don't think I've ever seen a poll with that many votes ending up in a 3-way tie

Joe, I know you've already AI'ed my bot, but since there's so much extra time, I might just go back and make improvements to it.   Is it ok if send you a new bot as long as it's within the deadline?
