The initial prototype for my second entry- DESIGNATED HERO, an S3-style Vertical Spinner, weighs about 398kgs, with 5mm Plastic Armour and 4 ant batteries, with two Minion discs for weapons. It's good in the destructive department (well, for IRL bot standards), but its main issue is that it keeps flipping itself over when the spinners get up to speed. Anyone know how I can solve this without compramising the destructive capabilities?

The intent is clamp and flip
Thought so- I've always liked the idea of something that could both clamp and lift opponents- a bit like Draven/Anthrax and Storm from RW.

Mega Hurts. I did the decals from pics found on Google Images; the end result is much better than cropping straight from the robot. (Image removed from quote.)
A marvellous skinning job there, Sonny- all we need now is Anvil and we've got both the RAF and the Royal Navy represented on GTM

Nice! It'll be great to see another old RW favourite back in action. I mean, we've already seen machines like Behemoth, Stinger and Onslaught (and once it's up and running, Mortis) in there previously, so why not? All they need is for Cassius II and Chaos 2 to return, and I can die happy I also heard a rumour that Firestorm might be returning, but I'm not certain.

Just an update
Team Clockwork has merged with Team Avenger and Team Psychostorm to form: The Robot Avengers
Also another update, our team has Steel Avenger in it!
Well, that's certainly a turnup for the books, having an old favourite in there! What's old Steely doing these days, anyway?

I'm really liking the look of it so far- once it's finished, it should be a force to be reckoned with. Although about the weapon- by the looks of things, it appears to be a crusher on a long arm- will it lift up and down as well as grip, or is it purely intended as a Sergeant Bash-style crusher?

Just got back from shooting stuff with my dad and Kujii. My shoulder's numb \o/
Cool beans. Testing that new rifle?
1. It's a carbine Sorry- not very knowledgable in the gun field. 2. Yes. Thought so.

I did put the extenders onto DDT's, and wedges out of the chassis. And it works quite good. I managed to make backflip to EMERGENCY. XD
I was flinging EMERGENCY out of the RW arena with lightweights back in the day, mate :P

In terms of reps, I'm hoping to see Cassius II added.
Is it truly necessary to state the incredibly obvious ?
Alongside another one, mate. Although admittedly, I don't think our friend down there was aware of it.

I hate it when Temi comes on computer. He always plays Garry's mod.
Probably playing with a Gmod version of my present to him in the Birthday Thread? :P

Made this myself: (Image removed from quote.)
Looks good, Nate- reminds me of Reier's old avatar. I know it's more or less based on a Bionicle, but which one in particular?

Mortis? Hell Yea!
I can imagine- the means to power the weapons are mostly already there (a beta motor for the Tanto Blade and a lifter motor for the Lifting Arm/Srimech)- maybe speed up something like the Overkill hammer motor (albiet with less havoking). The angular armour might be a bit tricky, though.

Still looking for a plain old DSL tournament though.
Same for me- except for Stock rather than DSL.
