What in the Nine Hells is this stupid theory ?
LRA2 is NOT Frezal.
Edit: Back on topic now...
...CANT WAIT FOR ME VS SONNY *drools* Sorry Nar, but I lost in the second round, remember? You'll be facing Pwn not me. Of course, if you lose to him, we could meet in the losers' bracket.

Kewl. What did you use for the triangular thingimajig between the perm and the saw? :D Flipper makers painted black. They're kind of hard to see against the section I painted black.

Flu after shot is not flu. Real flu is a potentially lethal disease.
Why don't you people get your shots? It's only helping your immune systems by creating antibodies to protect yourself against this year's influeanza virus (they mutate very fast). Seriously, you can even give the shot to yourself if you're ****ing hardcore :3. I can't speak for everyone, but there's more people than flu shots in my neck of the woods. As such, the people who can miss work on a moment's notice usually get them, while hard workers like my parents miss out.

Thank you. You won't regret making the change, I promise.
Is it ok I give you a photo of my bot with skinned components? I'll take them off for the fights themselves, but if possible, I'd like my replica to be displayed and judged with the components skinned.

What's the spaces after round 1 of the Consolation Bracket for then?
I mean, obviously 1 bot goes out, and then another appears. I'm guessing this is for the round 2 guys? Ah, didn't see those extra spaces. I guess that means that Excessive will get to fight again; nice!

I don't know when I'm going to get a flu shot, if at all this year. Hopefully my immune system is running on all cylinders; I live on a college campus and regularly take public transportation. I haven't gotten the flu in 5 years, I don't know if that's good or bad.

am I gonna be in the consolation bracket? Nope, only if you went out in the first round.

I never meant that there shouldn't be three weight classes, I just wanted to know why he kept shouting "THERE ARE 3 WEIGHT CLASSES!!!!!!!!1111111" all the time, when he hadn't even received any entries yet.
Look badnik, you don't even have eight entrants yet, you probably shouldn't make the tournament any more restrictive than it has to be.

I can't make any promises about staying in. You've basically put me back to square one by telling me I can't have a heavyweight. My robot is about 234 kg too heavy to be a middleweight, trimming to down is not going to be possible. So, I'm forced to now choose a different robot to replicate, and hope against hope that I can find that balance between power and accuracy that I did so well with my heavyweight entry.
Look, I'm sure I'm not the only one who was thinking of doing a heavyweight, you never answered my question as to what class the majority of people were building in. So I'm begging you, please re-open the competition to heavyweights. It really would be a shame to let this one go to waste.

I might have to drop too if it's middleweight only, my replica that I spent so much time working on before you changed the rule, is a HW.
I'm sure I won't be the only one caught off-guard by this new rule, I seriously advise you to allow all weight calsses, or you might get more dropouts than just me and Joe.

Seriously? But my entry is a heavyweight, it's not easy to build a middleweight in DSL and still have it both powerful and accurate, especially when it's areplica of a heavyweight to begin with. Have you actually got any entries in the Middleweight division? I'd really recommend that your one weight class be Heavyweight, or you just allo any weights to enter.
Also, maybe you could color-code the entrants on the front page like the other tournament organizers do, maybe green for entry received, blue for AI'd.

I'm pegging Scrap Daddy to win the consolation bracket; he was one of the favorites, and he only lost to me by a paper-thin margin.

Why are you so hung up on the 3 wieght class thingy? Have you actually gotten any entries yet?

Nice, Scrap Daddy. I really like what you've done with those.
How did you do that long greyish panel on Aces and Eights?

Nothing happened when I clicked it. Do you have to have scripts enabled for it to work?

Ok then. Have you appointed a judge yet for seeing whether the bots are "pure ownage?" because I've completed my entry, all that's left is the skinning

I want to thank Trov and Apanx for all their input towards this and not forgetting a HUGE thank you to Mad for his help with so much...I have learnt so much from him over the last few months, all of his input is very much appreciated and its really awesome to see people coming together to further explore Jousting in RA2 :-D
I understand there was a lot of confusion in the rules, etc (as it was new to everyone, including myself) which is basically why I wanted to just get this one started so everyone could see how it all works and understand it better, and add input towards it :-D
so thanks to all those who gave it a try and entered something in too :-D Don't tell me you're canceling the tournament? Please continue, I really want to see my bot compete, even if it loses badly.

hmmmmmm maybe the RW arena?
and yeah redone rules (sorry Wham) so that custom parts are illegal No, no no. The AI does not have sufficient skills to avoid the hazards. Most of the matches would be decided by bad driving. You had it right the first time; the RAT2#2 arena with hazards disabled Also, do Lightweight class entries actually have to be of Lightweight bots? Because there were only a handful of that weight class on Robot Wars.
