Judging by your performance Nate, I noticed that you took lots of punishment, yet you still ran on- bearing that in mind, I reckon that with your durability, you do stand a sporting chance, I reckon- if you can use that to get to Mike's chassis, I think you could win.
Although I have to say, you've pretty much got it in the bag against Hard Bot- his armour looked very weak in that previous fight.

Actually, it tends to flip over in different ways depending on circumstances. When I rev up the spinners, it rolls forwards. Yet sometimes, it tends to flip over backwards on hitting something.

Thanks guys- it's now currently under a spot of overhaul whilst I take the points into consideration. For the time being however, I finished the framework on War Bastard-  I might get round to painting it soon. However, I had a little trouble with reattaching the bar, so I went with a Mechavore Disc instead. From the looks of things though, it was quite effective, gnawing through the MW replicas I tested it on quite effectively. It's also slightly faster with its new tyres and motors (those RAD-alike ones which I keep forgetting), and with better defence at 5mm Titanium.

An opinion is one thing, but your apparent justifications for hating it is another altogether- only ever losing to the good robots should be seen as a good thing.
That leads me onto this- if "Good Robots could beat it easily", how do you explain it beating plenty of excellent ones over the years? (Big Cheese, Firestorm, HypnoDisc, Killerhurtz, Steg 2, Tornado, Stinger, Pussycat...)
Likewise, it only lost to Dantomkia because Shunt interfered with it self-righting properly. All you sound like to me is a bit of a DTK fanboy, really- if that's got me (generally considered to be the forum's most ridiculous fanboy) facepalming at your comments, that's saying something.
Yeah, but Chaos 2 used to be my favourite bot, until i found out who the driver was, and chaos 2 became outdated very quickly. Oh, and the hypnodisc boys handnt yet built their srimech, so, fail. But I do agree with how many dencent bots it beat.
On another note; what's a fanboy? Because I know people you for liking Cassius 2 for some reason.
But lay off. What's wrong with DTK? I may have a highly favourable opinion on it, but mocking me aboit isn't nice. And my personal text is a joke. I like DTK, but I DO NOT LOVE IT TO THE POINT WHERE I WONT HAVE AN OPEN MIND ABOUT IT.
I can understand the bit about it not being adapted for later wars- I realise that did cost it later. But liking it, and then suddenly hating it simply for the driver? To bring this back...
I'm going to go out on a limb and mention Killerkat- one of the few designs on RW I consider to be an absolute joke from top to bottom.
In terms of design, it had no redeeming features- slow, weak, ineffective weaponry, and one of those large chassis types that makes it vulnerable to more or less every type of weapon there is- a bad choice when you've got flammable armour that appears to be about as resistant as balsa wood.
And that's not even mentioning its near-complete lack of originality- a poor man's Pussycat, I consider it to be. So yes, from the description, you can probably imagine why I don't like it.

Not really, once you realise that some of the deaths are just so overblown and dramatic it's not even scary.

The Royal Navy, to be precise. I agree that it could've been better, but it had quite decent power for what it was, as did Anvil- that could comfortably push the combined weight of a man standing on an anvil, hence its name.
Sure because pushing is dangerous. Especially when you don't have a decent wedge. and when your design makes flanking really easy.
Also, THE ROYAL NAVY ? The only european navy that was feared for one century, and possibly more 'cause it was the more powerful of all ? Truly it has downgraded.
Well, I think it was more or less done in a short time, really. I'd estimate about a week or three tops, so I'd say it wasn't bad for what they had. Still not as good as it could have been, I'll give you that, but not bad for a first robot built in such a short time. And yes- particularly considering that those fools in our government have gotten rid of our two main Aircraft Carriers- one's up for sale, the other is currently being broken up in Turkey. Makes you wonder why they did it, really- particularly when you consider that the next main class (The Queen Elizabeth Class) is due much later.

The fourth conflicts with canon of the whole media. It was basically a big "THIS NEVER HAPPENED" that went on for an hour.
Then there were the X-rays, and that escalator death.

Good point. Definitely one of the nastiest deaths in the entire series, yet also impossible. Think about it- how does condensation from a drink travel that far? How does it conviently seep right into the workings, and into the exact processor that makes the heating element go up? How did they not notice the rising heat sooner? How does a coat stand conveniently fall right into a position to lock the lids shut?

None of them were particularly impressive, except the Typhoon series. Most of the other teams had help from experienced RW teams.
