Basically someone can post a quote they liked for the following month in this thread. Please keep in mind that you can only submit 3 quotes per month (which is actually a good amount). The quotes can also be your own if you want. Also, keep in mind that flamming/spamming etc. will get your quotes ignored. But you may post your opinion on other's posts. Here is the outline by which you must go by: ------------------------------------------------------- QOTM quotes for (insert next month here): 1. (name of person who made the quote)- "quote 1" - Thread link ( http://...) 2. (name of person who made the quote)- "quote 2" - Thread link ( http://...) 3. (name of person who made the quote)- "quote 3" - Thread link ( http://...) After I find out who has the most votes, their quotes will appear on the QOTM Thread. Along with my Giga Ratings list thingy. If you vote for someone, be sure to post the name of the person you are voting for and the number: Example: I vote for Gigafrost quotes 1 and 3. Try to vote for only one person per month though.  "Let the quoting begin!"

I am using the registered version of Fraps but have no idea as to what would be the best frame rate to use, apart from using the forums uploader which made me lose some quality. Remember that this is only a BETA. I will show you guys the finished product once I get in touch with mad. With mad's help, I am able to make the claws change direction if the flame hazards are activated. I basically upped the speed and power of the claws themselves to give you more of a challenge. I found out that when this is done, the claws actually do a bit of damage as well, which was very pleasing. Entries are coming along quite nicely! Added 70hemicuda and Scrap to the list, along with myself for the 16th slot...

Remember that custom/cheatbot2 parts are frowned upon by this community. Another thing to mention is that you should start looking over other showcases before creating your own.

Indeed, I agree with Inf...
I also think that the snowplow(s) should rack up points when they either ram or push against another bot (since pushing bots suck in general). Since they don't do damage, winning by points is a common victory in the real world, apart from things like judges decision.

Oh yes. Very sorry for that previous conclusion. My site holds the final rules: It's DSL.
BTW - I'm here for a little while (until thanksgiving anyway) and will accept any new entries. I also think Psy and some others said something about themselves entering as well? But I'm not certain... The other tournaments are coming to a close so let's all get hyped up for ELBITE! At least so I can get a good 32 full slots!
Update: Sometime tonight, I will also submit the Official ELBITE Tabletop Arena Video. Showing you what to expect (BIG kudos to mad btw). Keep an eye out for it!

UPDATE: I think I should let you all know... Since my grades arent too hot in my college life right now (An A, a B, a C, two Ds and Two Fs ), I have no other choice but to set Robot Arena 2 aside for a while and work on improving my grades (as an engineering major). This DOES NOT mean that I am cancelling ELBITE however, but it does mean that I may need to put this site on quarentine for a bit; or atleast until christmas break, when I have the time. You have my word on it that the Super Tournament WILL be started on schedule... As promised, I will try to get to you the preview of the prizes and the arena ASAP, but don't expect me to be on these forums until December. I am too afraid on being on the college probation list and I have way too many family members counting on my success. I know this is a very personal request and situation but I beg of you guys to just bear with me until I get a hang of things in my personal life. I know that I (and a few others) are probably the only ones that are welcoming the new members, and this has been bothering me for a while now. However, is there a way to just create a catagory that welcomes new members? This can probably boost our popularity and eliminate those n00bs... And most of the other forums have one.

Possibly... But that may need to be based on an input command of some sort.
example: A sketchy algorithm
Do Load Player 1-4 and/or AI
Do Tick/Timer command:
-If input button "Spacebar" is activated
-Activate Hammer in x direction with y speed and z power
else
Deactivate Hammer
There are many games created from pure python or c++ so it could be done.
