Whoa, wish i had seen this thread months ago. Your bots are all really cool looking, which is the most important thing if you ask me ^^

Thank you.  I mostly just mess around with odd weapon configs and my take on irl bots.

Me too, actually. I will update my showcase at some point soon.

You should. The one bot you posted has got some neat features to it.

So this time, a MW ring spinner.  I keep trying to get closer and closer to symmetry.  Will BFE the chasis height later, that should help some.

This is Helicoprion.  Shark themed ring spinner w/ 24 matilda teeth.  powered by 4 ants.  2x TWM3Rs for drive, and a TWM3R2 for the 3 100cm solid discs.  Armor is Steel 3.

Guess I've had an animal theme lately.

Part of it may be the weird way everything looks connected to hex plates. Maybe a small dsl cover cap? Or mini saw blade, etc.

Is Korona invertible?  I like the overall look good of it and thank a flashier skin would help it out. Jericho just seems to be lacking something...dunno what exactly though

Have you thought about angling the weapon motor? That way when your wedgelets get under a bot it goes right into the teeth.

Have you tried a hex plate instead of the dsl disc. That way you save weight on the disc to put towards weapons, and allows for either more damaging teeth or a greater number.

I would personally downgrade your drive motors as well for better fit. That also frees up weight for armor and weapons. Maybe add wheelguards and/or a seimech instead.

I think they need more batteries.
If you knock 'me out fast enough you don't need many.

Ok, so finanlly got the Hypno disc skinned...and its now wider and flatter....  How do I get it to keep the original shape? Or maybe even give it a steeper incline?

UPDATE:  Nevermind.  There were two Hypnodisc.gmf files.  One is flat, the other curved.

Now to skin the head later.  This turtle is prepared for Annihilation...Nation.

Since you're trying to enter it in DoT's tourney, have you considered using the CB2 Flatmotor rather than a perm on the turret?  The top section just looks too bulky to me and that would allow you more room to shape it.

Edit:  But you are going for a Tazbot meets GR look right?

When a turtlebot meets a mechavore HS.  Also, this is why I like building extenderbots, so many glorious little pieces of destruction everywhere.

First updates to Tortuga.  Now with Growler wheels, 4x astro motors, wheel guards, and mini typhoon teeth just in case it can get contact with an opponent.  Oh and super green color.

This is what i will do,
We give each bot diffrent controls then my brother and I drive them.
Eaiser and better than AI. AI is unpredictable. This is less unpredictable.
wtf, first you rip off BBEAMS and now you are ripping off the tourney idea Massimo and me came up and posted but never did, I'm suing.
You can't sue, he has nothing you would want.
You don't know my tastes or wants. (Image removed from quote.)

Here is a new work-in-progress MW concept/joke bot that puts on an entertaining fight.  Meet Tortuga the race turtle.

My goal is to practice component skinning on the Hypno Disc and Iron Fist to make them look like a shell and a turtle head...hopefully.
Overall, lots of speed, "shell" is used to selfright, but the angle of the hypno disc (chosen for aesthetic reasons) makes it hard to get spinner contact on opponents.  Will probably try other teeth setups.  Oh yeah, and will rework the frame so its all one color.

Next is a teaser of my current entry into Light v Dark.  Meet the Big Black Saw.

VS that can run inverted.  Based on some weird mashup of Nightmare and Wrecks.  I want to streamline the body section to look a bit more sleak, more angular.  Whole thing was based on wanting to play with weapon supports.
