I chose RIMP for two reasons.
1. sounds like it could be a lot of fun and 2. I love the acronym, say it with me now, rimp rimp rimp. see? it's fun 443

As far as i can see with these old eyes, the spike strips are the only thing keeping it from being realistic. is there a big enough gap between the spike clubs to keep it from going through your extender? looks to me like they might hit it a bit, but i don't think it's that big of a deal.
Regardless, I LOVE that bot. Very cool way to introduce yourself :D 445

Due to the new tournament rules, and the desire to get this thing going, I am putting a 1 week from today limit on getting teams in. Sign ups will close Friday, June 25th at approximately 6 p.m. Central time and the tournament will proceed with whatever approved teams I have. I will allow team edits for 3 days after that. expect the first vids to be uploaded sometime on June 30th.
Let's have some fun and see who survives. 447

I figured version one would be the easier one, but I'd love to see version 2. Either way would be fun, though :D

Honestly don't know how well this would work, but thought up an arena for team matches, here's an extremely simplified pic of the idea...
![]() the green squares are the starting position for 1 team, the red for the other team. The dark blue is a wall. After a minute or so, the wall drops, allowing the previously isolated bots to enter the fight. Or, alternately if it can be done, when one of the 'main bots' is destroyed, the wall isolating it's teammate drops. the teammate of the surviving main bot doesn't get to enter until it's teammate is destroyed. I don't know, was just playing around with ideas of making different versions of team battles, that's all. 451

Actually, I haven't gathered the Someone correct me if i'm wrong on this, but i'm pretty sure you can build in regular ol' DSL and it'll work just fine in NarAI. Granted, doing that you won't have access to any of the new components, but other than that, you don't actually have to have NarAI to enter this. 452
