So um, has anybody eaten anything good today?
I had some blueberry muffins but then I ran out and now I'm sad.
Not really. I've not actually eaten anything except a bowl of bran flakes just after I woke up. Although I did wake up at about half past twelve.

Jonzu, just stop it. You're digging yourself further and further into a hole with this, and you're not getting any of the respect that you're apparently wanting. While I agree that there's nothing wrong with a furry avatar, some people clearly view that as a target, in a similar fashion as GF's recent sexual escapades with Scourge, and perhaps the height of the pony thing. The difference is that GF, and the majority of the pony supporters, were willing to join in with the jokes made against themselves, and you seem to be incapable of doing this. I'm perfectly willing to make jokes at my own expense, and I feel that if you can do that, then you're more likely to accept jokes that others make at your expense. To me, you're just trying to get the last word in so it looks like you've won the argument, but you're going to have lost so much respect along the way that it really isn't worth it. Do what you want to do, have whatever avatar you want to have, but you have got to be willing to accept the consequences, and the inevitable comments that are going to happen. If you don't like the comments, then don't respond. It's as simple as that.

I lol'd. :gawe: Add Hypnos, drop to Plastic 1, and swap the hammer for a single LDS Tooth. Remove unnecessary batteries if you need more weight.

Chain LW VS. Because Pwnator.

245.9, 1 Black, DSA, RAD drive. Does alright. Big enough to remain stable most of the time, but small enough for the disc to kick itself back onto its wheels when it gets turned over.

Our internet service got "upgraded" last night. What that actually meant was it was being switched from Tiscali to TalkTalk. Our router was still trying to connect to the Tiscali server, so we couldn't connect to the internet. I was given a phone number to call, and that gave me the username and password that would work on the TalkTalk server. I put that into the router webpage, and it's all working now. =D

Apparently TalkTalk doesn't support Belkin routers. But no problems.

Just spent half an hour talking to some Indian guy to get my internet working again. In fairness, it did work once I'd done what he told me to do.

It's my understanding that the Antweight class was created around about the time of Robot Wars Series 3 was being filmed. During one of the heats, a controller was confiscated by a member of the audience, and it was later discovered during the same episode that the controller was actually for a small robot that would fit into your palm. Technical Consultant Derek Foxwell showed it to camera between two of the fights.

Does look very effective, but I'm really not a fan of the extender work. It looks far too fragile for my liking. Would it work if the Snapper2 and Z-tek were on the same extender? The Snapper axle could be loaded out of the way to attach the Z-tek.

Needs a halfsheet, if you're making it part of the bandwagon VS Gaz and ty started.

Apart from that, it looks pretty good, if a little small. And normally I like small. Rammer at the top of the page looks excellent, though, maybe you could lose the wedge for some more weaponry, kinda like what Valid Query had going on. It'll be a huge hindrance should you get turned over somehow.

Should have NPC's, as Gaz said. That was part of the rules. =P

Does look very good, though, apart from the incredibly low reach. Lowering the perm would help, though, and that's a very good use of the halfsheet orientation. I think people choose the horizontal halfsheet because of stability when turning.

Yay! <3
Good job on getting Plastic 3. I think mine needs a re-build now. :P Not sure about the stabilisers though.
As I said with the stabilisers, it was a toss-up between strength and stability, and I went for stability. I could possibly upgrade to Aluminium skirts if I dropped the chassis armour, or went for Mini Wheels instead of Shiny Hubs.

yay challenges

398.7, Plastic 3, 3 ants. Normal NPC's, Perm 132, pair of 70kg hammers and a Halfsheet. Flipper segments actually don't unbalance the weaponry at all. Tried 80cm Alu skirts, and the bot kept tilting forwards whenever it hit anything, so I went for 120cm Poly skirts instead.

Looks very animalistic. Great side panel work. I'd wonder if it'd look better if they were angled inwards a little so it didn't have a gap in the middle.

GF93: The (I think) Fourth person on GTM to get laid.

By which I believe you mean to say "...and to feel like he needs to shout it down from the heavens"

Correct mate, must have forgot to add that part.
Not really, though. I've kind of mentioned it in passing, and next thing I know, everyone's discussing how successful my penis is

Was that one of your spectacular chatup lines? :gawe:

Possibly. If I can put together some others for the team. In the meantime, here's a prototype for Survival Of The Fittest 2.

249.0. We're only allowed 6 flails on a team, but I wanted my LW to have more weaponry than that. Hence the assembly on the top, which does a good job of protecting the motor. Nothing intersects (much), but it's a little bit skittish, and I couldn't get a poly skirt on the back either. Only Plastic 1 and 2 ants, but it seems to do well enough in combat. Also invertible.

Gonna have a great time filled with hilarity, beards and breath that smell of Canada's maple syrup tonight.

Going to go to the Edinburgh Fringe again tonight to see Craig Campbell (Legend), Stewart Francis (Legend), and Glenn Wool (Not sure yet) in thier comedy show called "Return of the Lumberjacks", so called because they all come from Canada. Should be brilliant because Craig and Stewart are amazingly funny and I have wanted to see Craig in real life for a few years.

Dis gon be gud.
And Milton Jones.
One of the best shows I have ever been to.

Got my picture taken with Jon Richardson too.

My status has been elevated to jelly and ice cream.
