DSL TC Showcases / Re: Domanating's Showcase of nonsense

There are AIs that can control a wildly spinning Sheck Spinner. They are called Melty Brain AIs and I have no clue how to use them, but others do.

Also, 2 Tribe is a tournament that is running right now.

I think that any robot that could beat that last bot consistently would probably have flail weapons.

I can't believe I haven't been looking at this showcase. I've been here way too long, and that crocodile is without a doubt the coolest robot I have ever seen. Ever. I have never seen an actual walking walker. One that takes actual steps. I am just in shock and awe at these walkers. But that crocodile, with the fast steps and the mouth and the tail and wow.

As Pwn put it...

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnggggggggggg

Chatterbox / Re: Weird places you've slept
« on: July 07, 2012, 08:08:40 PM »
My bathroom floor multiple times, although not why you'd think. I get migraines not frequently but regularly (ever couple months or so) and am generally tired when I get one. As I sit in the bathroom waiting to puke sometimes I lay down on the little movable rug thingy in the bathroom (decorative) with my shirt as a pillow (take it off so I don't puke on it). Generally migraines end in puke, but the sleeping has happened at least twice.

One time I was woken up by my mom opening the door to check on me and bonking my head with it.

Reminds me of Little lost bot's COTT entry, but better. Much better.

Well try and get good with it first before racing. People don't appreciate when you trash their safety rating along with yours. Quite a few people actually race with flight sticks so it is possible.

Oh, and iracing just announced half off all new memberships for the rest of this month... so go ahead wakky. 6 bucks will get you a month of iracing and I doubt you'll escape the rookie series by then. Most don't.

Very well done!

iRacing looks like the perfect sim for me - the dream racing game that I've always wanted.

Sadly, the pricing model is so ridiculous I'll never play it.

if you keep your subscription, you get 40 credits a year. ( 1 credit = $1 ) And if your talented with a painting tool, you can vulture the fourm requests to make paint schemes for them, and you get paid in 10 credit gift cards. If you learn to paint well, you can extend your subscription and buy new stuff. Plus, to get started, you can get 2 months free. ( 3 months for $12 ) So at least try it out.

And one funny thing, my mom paid for my subscription, so now my name is hers. But support will fix it.

So that was you!!! I was wondering who it was who signed up with the referral thing. Imma go friend you, we need to race at least in a practice at some point. I remember doing that with JD in the Legends, it was fun.

Edit: looks like you changed your name or something. What is it on there now?

Edit 2: Shut up about the painting thing its how I pay for it lol

Edit 3: I believe you still have to fill up your participation to get the credits though. Basically a reward for racing.

Edit 4: Think I found you. Sent the person I think is you a PM on iRacing.

Just an FYI, my match vs Massimo isn't in the first post.

Also, before you film my next match, let me check the AI I sent you, because my not shouldn't be spinning like that. I may have sent the wrong one or forgotten to send one altogether, but I have a well tuned one on my computer right now. I just new to get my sister off it and get on to check it.
Oh, well uh I already recorded all the matches but I took notice and fixed the turn speed for you.

Perfect then.

Thanks

All your American muscle 'cars' (for sake of better word), can eat my Singer Chamois' dust. Once I fit twin carbs, it'll be able to reach 90 mph. :P

Also, new plugs will improve spark, and therefore will make the fuel ignition effortless. Changing the Distrubuter and plugs will be one of the first things to do on my car.

We could definitely do a Northeast gathering. All of the people Scrap mentioned, plus me JD, Sonny, Badnik, Mr. AS, 027 LB, and probably a couple more. We could meet at Six Flags New England. It is pretty central in the northeast, a fun place, and I'm going to be attending college 20 minutes from it for the next 4 years. And anybody else who wants to fly there can go too. :D

2 things

1. Are you worried about the motor being so exposed. This may be RA2 in me saying "protect the motor", but it just seems like an expensive and integral part of the robot.

2. Weight class?
