I'm genuinely surprised that I didn't make my teams bot FUBAR, but I'm not too confident about out chances against conraa's bot
That makes two of us. Regardless of how our bot fares, I like how it turned out. While Conraaaaaaas bot has pretty tough weapons, it also has hardly any protection for the chassis. We might luck out. How many ants did we end up with total in the bot Reier? Enough to power each motor? Just curious.

Also, anyone who voted #6 because it's "the most combat effective" clearly didn't build a rough clone and test it... it's original and it has a nice splash, I'll grant it that, and the weapon does spin absurdly fast, but combat effective it is not.
Gah! I have been duped! Not gonna change my vote, that's not how i roll.

If it's a laptop he's out of luck
RAM is removable on laptops... usually just a simple trap door on the bottom of the machine. Whatchutalkinaboutson?

I am voting #6 to bring back the seriousness of BoTM.
Agreed. Even though I tend to make not-so-serious bots, I think it would be nice to have #6 on the front page. Got my vote.

Lotsa clouds in Daytona. :P I'm going to follow the race online via the leaderboard, but I don't think I am going to go out of my way to find a TV to watch it on. (which involves going to the bar or a friends house.)
Hope everyone finishes the race safely. I'm happy that Blaney made it into the race. He's got a solid car! Hoping for at least a top 10. McMurray seems to have a good car too & Bayne is insane on this track!
Too many good cars to choose from. It is really anybody's race. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Aric Almirola stuns the world and becomes the suprise winner this year. :D
If Danica crashes again... she won't hear the end of it for a long time. :P

I'll get onto them tommorow when I get back to my computer. I'll admit, they were bad calls on my part and I apologize.
It takes a good man to admit his mistakes. Rock on to you. Apology accepted and life goes on. It is just a fun tourney, so don't let it drag you down. :D

Urge Overkill got back together. Hoping they will do a US tour.
Right now they are gearing up for Australia and New Zealand.

Why don't we just tally up a count of official stats for the previous year and award accordingly? That way we recognize active members and it wont be a "bawwww" fest because people will complain about stats that seem shady. Besides, if we just do it yearly, we have all the info we need right here on the forums... and it is all dated.
Just throwing that idea out there to save from controversy. I can't be arsed to tally up all my carp from since 2007. GaffSquareBladeFront4Wheels won a tourney... my life is complete.

Yeah, TBR sold the points from the 36 to SHR so that Danica would have a guaranteed spot in the D500. I would be pretty pissed about this but the deal gets TBR tech support from Stewart and some pit crew assisstance as well (just like the Furniture row team) Dave still had to race his way into the 500. So I will be pretty bummed if he misses the cut. We shall see what happens. At least he has a sponsor for daytona now, which is nice. I agree on Landon. He's a of a driver and I look forward to seeing him race this year too. Being locked into the first 5 races is huge for him. Good times! Qualifying is about a week away... O.o

BOTM participation has gone downhill. I am curious as to why. There are plenty of active builders in the community. Some of the big guns like Joe, Sage, and Click have been absent from BOTM for a while. I am really surprised that others have not jumped at the opportunity to win. It seems like it coincides with the increase in IRL building that the community is enjoying. I would like to know your feelings on the subject. Please take a moment to answer the poll with any of the choices that are relevant to you. Thanks.
