Yeah, the best method to get rid of n00bs is simply the banhammer. A "n00b filter" can be bypassed by a somehow cunning member.
+1 for the banhammer.

Bump
My steam download has just stopped at 70%, its taken all day and I dont want to restart it. Is there any way to make it start downloading again?
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

cause its been known to go wrong There is no way to brick an iDevice by jailbreaking it. You can always restore the software via iTunes. what benefits it will give me? Tons of apps that Apple won't allow on the App Store. Also, it's a philosophical thing for me - I bought something, I have every right to have full access to it, I don't want my devices to be crippled by DRM.

Phil: a) Nice demo but FRAPS is better at recording games than CamStudio. b) How are you achieving the downwards motion? Just applying a force from the AI script?

PS. I'm using Cider to convert it to mac. It won't work, at least it didn't the last time I tried it - RA2 uses the cursor in a way Wine (what Cider is based off) can't handle.

That was a fail excuse.
Well you're a failure, asshat. Also, yes, FRAPS is your friend for anything game-related.

Ce thread est plein de gens qui essaient d'etre cool en parlant du pseudo-francais.
Je suis d'accord avec toi.
Tiens, tu parles francais, toi? Ou c'est juste la magie de google translate qui te permet de exercer cette sortre de tromperie?

I saw this, Watson was very impressing. And just to be stupid i said, "AHHH! IBM HAZ STARTED THE ROBOT APOCALYPSE!" But he/it was really impressing, my brother said that it/he cheated though when it/he went to the DD automatically.
*impressiveAlso, Skynet.

The Call of Cthulhu.
Awesome. Right now I'm re-reading Gibson's Neuromancer.

I've never fired a gun (well, apart from a pellet gun) in my life, and I don't feel the need to.
Although I'm considering to try a 9mm at a shooting range just to be prepared in case of a zombie outbreak.

There's this site, mp3ornot, which lets you test whether you can recognize high quality (320kbps) from standard quality (128kbps) MP3's. Check it out and boast about your score here. (ESI Juli@ sound card, audio-technica ATH-A700 headphones)

Protip: instead of making all the geometry smaller, multiply the transformation matrix by a scaling matrix. Way easier.

Who's this guy
His avatar editing quality is eerily similar to Sparkey's MS Paint skills (or therefore, lack of).

It would be Extremely awesome if you made some interface to change AA, AF, etc... Yeah, I'm working on replacing GLUT (a cross-platform way to quickly create an OpenGL window) with my own code so I can more precisely regulate AA (right now it's just on-or-off) and do other fancy stuff. PS: I <3 reflections on the teapot :3 Thanks, but it's nothing special, and it's not even true reflections yet (eg. reflecting other objects in the scene, that's for way later on), just a Phong shading model I implemented really fast in a GLSL shader. But yeah, it can look really nice at times :P.
