*ahem* pet peeve of mine. There's more to screaming than just screaming. most people don't realise it's actually just singing with a different type of emphasis. Therefore, if singing is music, screaming is as well.
That being said, "just screaming" isn't music. screaming correctly is. And, to me, someone who can switch back and forth seamlessly between screaming and singing, and do both well, is much more talented than someone who doesn't scream at all.
Of course, the above is all in my opinion alone.

As for the options, none would work. I have one of the worst reputations where I live, simply because I'm nice, kind and don't make trouble in classes. Nobody would be seen dead in a band with me. And I don't want to form an internet band just yet.
I'm gonna guess you live in england then  Yeah, the internet band thing has worked very well for some people, but I don't think it wor'sk very well in the long run. I feel sad for you now after that comment though, i'm sure you'll find some bandmates soon though, people have musical soulmates aswell as love soulmates. Oh and yeah the day that never comes is gonna be in dj hero, they're mixing it with a kanye west song

Everyone who's heard me, including several music teachers, have told me I sing very well. Apparently getting 85% on expert vocals on guitar hero on my first go is also an achievement, but I don't think so.
Ufgh, i hate guitar hero, you know they are putting aMetallica song into dj hero now! Anyway /rant But yeah if music teachers are telling you you sound good, you probably do. Take one of the routes i mentioned before and your set

*Anthrax
*Testament
*Annihilator
Slayer-needs to show some more progression to their playing style, their songs are commonly fast, but lack any amount of complexity. Megadeth-One of my old-time favs  Metallica-they is ma second favourite band of all time, yi hope you've actually listened to their albums outside the first 4, many people dismiss them without listening to them, even though they are very good albums (justice is still best though ) Overkill-another solid band, need to listen to more of them TBH Anthrax-o.k, but give me armored saint over them anyday Testament-Can't comment, never listened too them for some reason Annihilator-More kudos to you mate, great band.

Ah, the days when i liked alt. rock. Those were the.. erm actually that wasn't a good time for me Still, you could try and broaden your musical horizons a bit. Or you could post an ad for musicians wanted in your local music shop. Or you could try and form a band over the tiniterwebz. Or you could try and get others interested in your favourite bands. Or you could reach a compromise with other musicians to play a fuse between alt rock and classical

The problem with going to a school full of rugby players and more classically oriented musicians is that I don't know anyone who I could envisage making a band with.
