Yeah, the wedges are probably too wide.

Plus axle wedges doesn't work well at high speeds. Are these NPC Fasts ?
Yes they are npc fasts, it was hard to fit a good wedge setup into the design, thats the best I could do

Then the hammers would be too far from the ground

A lot of the chasis space is taken up by where the hammers pass through it.

*expects FOTEPX to name the bot lolz*

Vlad spikes have normals, so that might hinder the design. Try a version with Robot X Sais and see if it does better. :D
I'll try that

*expects FOTEPX to name the bot lolz*

That's not gonna happen, but I will say that it is lol for you to expect me to call the bot lol. I think it's fine, but could do with some different spikes, maybe Harpoons. also, what's the weight of this thing?
Tried harpoons & they were even worse. Its pretty much up to the weights limit

Got another Idea what if there was a reskined soccer arena for the World Cup.
Is there a way to make the AI actually try & get the ball in the goal?

For you no. You are in England right? If you are the ground frequency of 75mhz used in the US would be illegal. In England the frquency is 40mhz(?) I recomend a 2.4ghz spread spectrum remote and reciever from spektrum. http//robotmarketplace.com/0-SPM55001.html
The spektrums are by far the best transmitters.
