Also, seeing as I don't have Photoshop, could you use that skin that Badnik has for my car?

I can't use the same skin, but I can probably replicate it on the NR2002 template.

Since there seem to be more people interested in NASCAR on GTM than ever and due to the NASCAR tournament going on, I have decided that I will try my hand at putting together a competition, myself.
 
Using NASCAR Racing 2002 Season, I am going to give everyone the oppurtunity to pick a car number and design a paint scheme for a car which I will put into the game and enter into a single AI race scenario.
 
The race will be at Coca-Cola Superspeedway (A fictional 3 mile superspeedway) and will be 252 miles (84 laps).
 
Damage will be on the moderate setting and there will be NO cautions. 
 
Each AI driver will have the aggression turned all the way up just to make it a bit more exciting.
 
I can even upload a highlight video to Youtube.
 
I hope to make the GTM Shootout an annual event here on the forums.
 

If you are interested in entering, PM me the number you desire. Numbers can be anywhere from 0 to 999. If someone has already chosen the number you desire I will ask you to choose another UNLESS you only want a 50% chance of being in the race. The game randomly chooses one car if there are two identically numbered cars in the roster.

Paint scheme rules:
1) PLEASE put your number on each side of the car AND the roof. Rooftop numbers should be able to be read from the left side of the car.
2) Absolutely no profanity or vulgar images anywhere in the paint scheme.
3) Your car may have sponsors, if you so choose. Just be sure to make them appropriate. No porno site sponsors.
4) Your finished paint scheme MUST be a .tga file.
5) If you are interested in entering, but do not have Photoshop (etc.) Just let me know what number you want and I will make you a car. It will be a very plain paint job, but at least you will be in the race.

Brookstone is a mail-order store from which you can buy many very cool (and very expensive) items. Anyway, they have a warehouse in my town. I heard they were hiring seasonal employees for the big Christmas season, so I applied and was interviewed, hired, and trained on a type of forklift called a dockstocker. I felt I was a good employee, until a few months later, I was fired for coming in late.
 
The only reason I came in late was because I had to call in the day before due to the fact that I had a doctor's appointment and didn't know that we were supposed to work a nine hour shift. That meant I was supposed to come in at 6am rather than the normal time, 7am. I walked in an hour late, i knew i would be in trouble. Later, I was told that my supervisor wanted to see me in her office. I go to her office and she tells me that I am being terminated.
 
My point is, they have outrageous prices on items that most people don't even need, yet they pay their employees just above minimum wage. Every thing they seel is made in China, so they aren't paying anywhere near the same price per you as the consumer is. They are a multi-billion dollar company... They can afford to pay their employees better wages.

Holy crap... My crappy internet actually loaded the thread!

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that 4Head put up a good fight. The fight against BWMS in the loser's bracket sounds like a real doozie. I knew that it wouldn't last long. I was just happy to get in BBEANS6 with a half-assed decent bot.

Sure wish I could watch the videos. Which brings me to my next order of business...

It seems that with all the recent changes made to GTM, my internet has a really hard time loading it. I have come to the conclusion that I will not be able to get on the forum much. Therefore, I won't be around GTM much anymore and BBEANS6 will probably be my final tournament, At least until I can get a decent internet connection. I still may show up from time to time, but I most likely won't enter any tournaments for a while.
