TP
Since Designated Hero got rejected, my cupboard was rather bare in terms of BOF VSes. However, I just managed to complete a prototype for my next robot- (Image removed from quote.) Fairly powerful, and can right itself with the kickback from its disc. Has no official name yet (Its concept name ATM is Shoryuken), but feedback would be appreciated.
Kickback is a good name.
In which case, I'll change it to that. It's now Kickback, and I'll begin painting it soon Looks cool. How fast is it?
Moves around quite quickly but not fast enough for it to cause the spinner to troll dance- a good speed for a VS, you could say.

Am I cool yet?
Always were- epic win on the animation, I have to say. If that's only your first full-length frame-by-frame piece, I can see you moving onto great things School August 31st for me. Senior year mofos
University on the 24th for me. Student Life, mofo Here's Onslaught. It's ironic that one of the smallest heavyweights ended up kind of biggish here. The next replica I do will be my twentieth; how do I make it special? I'm not good with milestones and sentiments. (Image removed from quote.)
Definitely one of your best so far, Sonny- well done Although, which ones have you built so far?

You know I'm all over this- once I get back from Spain, I'll enter something in either the MW or HW categories.

As a final update on War Bastard, here it is in its custom paintjob- Added a Union Jack and nice perspex effects on the lid to give it a quite-unique appearance. This is the version I will send to Badnik, ASAP. I will also finish off my two new entries tonight.

WB is OK, but the other guy has a cheatbot2 part (Beta panel IIRC) that makes it illegal for BoF. Sorry.
Ah, OK. It does use a Beta Panel, but I mainly used it as a means of support more than anything, not for overpowered weaponry like with so many Cheatbot2 parts. But that's fine- I'll work on a replacement right away.

Typhoon Twins: Due to new rule changes if one cluster bot was out, the other could still fight. Thats unfair.
Not really, the total weight of cluster bots must be equal to a bot that isn't a cluster bot.
I wouldn't mind this, aside from the fact that this didn't apply in the main competition, so Black And Blue was eliminated in Round 1 because only one half of the bot broke down. If it was the same across the board, regardless of weight class, then that would be fine.
Technically, it was actually because one half ended up in the pit- the exact same thing happened to Typhoon Lightning, and the clusterbot itself was not eliminated. It just irritated me to see that they appeared to make that rule solely for the Typhoon Twins to continue in the Middleweight Tournament- quite unsporting when you consider that, along with the original Typhoon, it was more or less a team of three robots against two seperate ones in the finals.

If we had a CLEAR definition of "IRL building" it would be SO MUCH EASIER to say what is IRL... for me IRL is "realistic, and could work in real life".
Oh and I am entering BoF for fun, yes, but my definition of "fun" in robotic combat is... *inhales deeply*
Crush the chassis of your enemies while laughing maniacally ! Rejoice at other people posting awed comments at how Bad Ass your bots are ! Climb on top of a pile of defeated opponents and rise your weapons towards the sky to look awesome ! Inspire sheer unbridled TERROR in your enemies by beating their bots senseless ! Make special taunting py's so your bot shouts one liners in combat ! This is robotic combat, damnit, and it's essense is FAST PACED, BRUTAL CONFLICT, as well as survival of the fittest ! Components flying everywhere ! SPARKS FOR THE SPARK GOD !
Or basically, kick the other robot's teeth in

Possibly.
Quick tip, visit the Botanical Gardens, I think they're owned the the university. Very nice walk, if nothing mind-blowing.
Perhaps- I do recall passing by the gardens when I visited not too long ago.

That's because it's on the wrong layer- make sure it's set to the same layer as the picture, otherwise it won't work. Still, if I can get my hands on a copy of Photoshop, I could see this being incredibly useful for rep-building in the long run. Thanks Scrap

*Takes out loan to bring this back from the dead*
But yes, does make you wonder how they stay working for all that time, really.
The first and only static Zipper only lasted less than a year.
Yes, I'd heard. Looked awfully complicated to me, so no wonder, really.
It was in Galaxyland(Second Biggest indoor park) in West Edmonton Mall, Canada. The reason for its removal was because it needed maintenance a lot.
But anyways the second preview for my Kirmes/Funfair Coaster pack will be up tomorrow, it is for Turbulence(Looping Coaster) and actually my favourite of the pack second is one of the mystery rides.
Right. Had a feeling it would've had something to do with reliability issues and whatnot. And a looping coaster, you say? Schwarzkopf or Pinfari? :P

Have you ever consider that it might have to do with the "frequency" of your drama baiting?
I only used the rating system twice. First time was a up rating for Gravin because I don't think he deserves all the negative for posting a bot in his own showcase, second time is this.
For your information, I've done a lot to improve on that, lately. The only reason this happened was because of Naryar taking that meaningless joke the wrong way, and abusing his powers in an overblown attempt at retribution. Why don't you take it out on him for a change? He and his lickspittles are the ones who caused this whole sorry incident, thus are clearly the ones who are in the wrong.

Had no problems last time I did this (about two years back), so I assumed the same for this. But no. Just goes to show how far this place has degraded.

Garvin won the SFTW award already.
He should've called it Pathetica

Well, it's somewhat longer than that. All it was was a simple prank combined with some actual information on not being around- I don't see why it needed to be corrupted in the way it did by these attention-seeking designated heroes.

Looks great, Sonny! I like how the spikes were laid out. I have to say, I also very much liked that improved Cassius rep you made for the previous heat of the Runners-up Tournament
