Even assuming that bot was facing a bot with one skirt wedge in the middle, it would still be able to get underneath through the snowplows, and frankly I think that's a shoddy defence against being outwedged. Especially since it's only against one kind of wedge.

Still, if he wanted to clone a bot then fair enough, but even then he could keep the open middle part (and the general body shape) and implement better weapons.

i have hamachi and tunngle, both running at the same time without trouble. Tunngle works well, when low ping with others in a room on Tunngle, you'll pretty much have reduced lag. it is pretty well playable as me and Timothy experienced. and me and timothy both have... $|-|!7 internet connection.
Great, I should definately check this out in a bit as I has uber tinterwebz connection

fail weapons
Good point.
Why the big ol' saws?
You could have made it a popup or a VS.

Instead it looks to me like a VS in a popup's body.
Also the snowplows on the back look like they're straight from a juggler, although I get your probably using them to stop the opponent robot from flying upwards.
Although TBH I can't see much from that battle pic, i'm still surprised if that is effective, especially if it gets out wedged.

Owned by Electric and Ice-types. =P Which are fairly common, I find. It's better to have a wide range of types to have an advantage over everything, rather than having one where you're stuffed. Grass should be there, probably, because later on, you may encounter Quagsire quite often. God, those things are annoying.
Also gyrados is weak to ice so you have a lot of ice weknesses there.

Strong pokemon are: Gengar, dragonite, aerodactyl, tyranitar, Alakazam, porygon z and scizor to name a few.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Thrash Metal
« on: October 12, 2010, 11:34:38 AM »
NWOBHM: This was the first kind of Heavy Metal and basically is like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, not extreme but very much like metal and rock mixed. Yeah, your pretty spot on there, it's a good sub genre that's sadly dying out as most of the former N.W.O.B.H.M bands are either retired, or have changed their musical direction (for example iron maidens turning towards the progressive side )

Thrash: Relies on fast tempos, not as fast as speed metal but very fast, with loud distorted guitars, with complex note patterns. Often features growled vocals. Good example is The Evil Has Landed by Testament. Thanks for pointing out the important fact that thrash is rather complexmusically, but I think that singing style in thrash is rather varied now, and unfortunately more "death style" than the N.W.O.B.H.M or hetfield style singers back in the 80's

Speed Metal: Basically patented by Motorhead and Anthrax in somewhat different styles. Very fast rhythm and a very punky attack, but with massively fast riffs. Probably the second hardest type to play after thrash. Ace Of Spades by Motorhead and Indians by Anthrax are your examples. I wouldn't call anthrax speed. Slayer were the big four of thrash band that pionered speed, anthrax pionered nu-metal(sadly), Metallica innovated on ol' fashioned heavy metal and Megadeth made dance/pop metal with risk

Black Metal: Genre basically made by Venom then made popular by Slayer. Like Death Metal but less extreme and with sung vocals. Varies a heck of a lot though. Two examples- My Twin by Katatonia and War Ensemble by Slayer are our examples. Once again slayer was speed/thrash not black, their songs are far too repetitive and stupid musically to be black  ;). IMO black metal focuses on gothic styles rather than heavyness, but that's clearly up for debate

Death Metal: A diverse range of genres come under this but it is mostly about very growly vocals and extremely heavy riffs. Can also be wonderfully well done as proven by a few band such as Opeth, Meshuggah, ISIS and Scar Symmetry. Our most generic example will be Bleed by Meshuggah. Death metal is basically to metalwhat metal is to rock. You can put all kind of sub genres within death metal if you want (for example I think opeth are primarily progressive death metal). Still think the majority of death is too immature and lacks direction

Power Metal: A metal based off NWOBHM guitar and rythm wise but with higher guitar and cheap choir sound effects :P. Example is Mr. Torture by Helloween. Don't disrespect power metal! I know the genre has many flaws and often falls to the same stereo-types, but I still enjoying listening to some of it now and then

Nu Metal Is not music, is unredeamable, is immature lyrically, musically and imagewise and everytime i see somebody wearing a slipknot shirt part of me dies inside

Progressive Metal: Scorpion loves this cause of Dream Theatre. Thrash metal with more progressive rock style riffs and keyboard backing very often. It's Dream Theater, not Dream Theatre ahem, sorry about that, but yeah progressive metal = win all over.
Don't know what you mean by the thrash metal comparrison though

Sludge: Slow, grungy rhythms and strange styling. I'm no expert here but Mastodon is your band example.
Relatively new genre, I like it a lot though, very unique, often mixed with many progressive elements aswell which is only a good thing, crack the skye FTW

By "The Hypocritical thing", it was how Razer continued to attack Chaos 2 after it broke down, the very same thing they complained about in Series 4.

yes we have discussed this  there was an agreement to not attack anymore then what was required to KO the other robot (so no more damage after the other lost) Pussycat team didn't follow through on what they apparently agreed to.. that's why he was mad.

you can clearly see in the grudge match he was fine with being beaten.. also I will point out the fact RW puffed it up way more then it was for the sake of a grudge match...

Chaos 2 team should have made an agreement with Razer to not attack after KO then.. it was still little damage compaired to Mr. Psycho
And good ol' 13 black.
I HATED mr pshycho thoough.

It's bad luck really.

So. Cloning, eh?!

Well, very nearly. I always wanted to try and clone fat rat, as it has caused me so many problems. But, I wanted to make it slightly different. So I put saws on it, and some snowploughs at the back. And a few more minor differences. And thats builders block sorted for a bit, expect a few sawbots soon. :P
Oh why would you want to clone, it annoys me.
Still that said, I don't know what your cloning there, but that does look cool.
You should probably use stronger disks though, i'm not sure of the hp of mechavore disks, but you don't want your saws coming off in battle do ya  :p

I like the 360. The PS3 isn't all that appealing to me.
May I ask why?

Sony and Apple are even worse!

Also, I am a google fanboy!
Have you been on youtube lately?

Oh and I don't really care for fanboyism (new word) but the only company that weren't assholes were sega.

Naa, I don't buy overpriced crap (AKA a PS3.)
seeing PS3 has a proper Blue-Ray player and is very fast and strong, it is far from overpriced. and even further away from being crap. PS3 is masterful, but NOTHING will ever beat the NES!
The ps3 and 360 are the same basically (although if I had a ps3 my ipod may never have been broken )

Oh and dreamcast FTW!

I know, I've got a feeling i've already discussed this but, frankly, razer can crush chaos 2 as much as it wants.

1) Razer

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Alright, I'll swap it for Chaos 2.
What?!
If razers your favourite, then fair enough, it is a very cool robot.
Don't let mean old naryar push you around  :p
It's OK, I like 'em both. Razer dropped on the rankings anyway after I noticed its hypocrisy in its battle with 13 Black and Chaos 2   :rage
It wasn't hypocrisy IMO, besides Razer>Chaos 2

And I can't believe i forgot about 13 black, My revised list is now
1) P.A
2)hypno-disk
3)13 black
4)Nightmare
5) :ermm: Between razer, wild thing , Eevil weevil or Dantomkia
