Creativity Showcase / Re: Robotic 3D Showcase (3d max, Autocad, Rhino, anim8or, ect.)« on: July 02, 2013, 10:51:15 AM »I appreciate the help but I was maybe a little unclear - I can get the texture I want as a material, and then apply that to the forks as a whole. But the texture is very small, so it tiles over the forks. What I'd like to do is select multiple faces at a time, and then resize the texture over all of them. But I only see the option to do that one face at a time.Is the size for each face the same or does it vary depending on where it is? 4246

Creativity Showcase / Re: Robotic 3D Showcase (3d max, Autocad, Rhino, anim8or, ect.)« on: July 02, 2013, 05:36:23 AM »UUnfortunately it doesn't look likely i'll be able to texture this properly - trying to texture the forks is a major hassle as it seems to only be do-able one face at a time. Here's a shortcut for you. Look exactly down with the fork on the right, or look exactly sideways with the fork on the right. If you click and drag from right to left the selection field becomes a dotted line. If you get even the smallest amount in the dotted lines it highlights the whole face. Once you have selected all the faces keep them highlighted and render them with the paint tool. Helpful? 4249

I hope they're the right ones. Spiky wedged rammer, armourless flipper and waspy drum thing. Close enough, and thanks. 4251

Hamilton should've done the reasonable thing instead of continuing - he should've spun out at great speed and horribly injured himself.

My plush Inky came in the mail a few days ago, I don't need to wrap him out for at least a week. I think Ducky will like it a lot, it's snuggly. 4259
DSL TC Showcases / Re: New Cutting Wedge Technology« on: June 20, 2013, 01:51:52 AM »
Dude you have got a worse set of first posts than me.
First of all, we don't need templates for robots, and besides why go to the hassle of downloading someone else's robot to put our own stuff in it, probably to find out that there is either too much space, not enough space, or it is the wrong weight class. Secondly an ego gets you nowhere, unless you're Nary, but he's more about ham. 4260
