HAI!  New replicas from Ninja Resetti.

Wild Thing

One thing I love about DSL is that you can have your robot stand up on casters and still be able to move it around fairly controlledly.

Scorpion.  I put in 2 shots because I needed one to mimic the pose of the original, but I didn't think it was a very flattering angle.

Wild Thing and Plunderbird are the rarest of the mini's, they're the only two I haven't been able to locate.

Just for kicks, I also got the Killerhurtz Grips and Grapple, the Mauler battlebot kit, and the Tentomushi McDonald's toy; even though they're from the Battlebots people, all three did appear on Robot Wars.

The Bydo is the living embodiment of evil.

Obviously Badnik then.  :mrgreen:

But Bydo breath?  does Bydo have halitosis or something?

Sending entry... GO USA! BEAT THE S*** OUT OF THE UK!
You want to bet on that, Bydo Breath?!  :p

Say what?  This is what I get when I search "Bydo" (yes it's safe for work)

I've got all the Robot Wars pullbacks, even Dantomkia.  It may not sound terribly impressive, but the toys were distributed exclusively in the UK, and I live in the US.

Here's Run Away, with a blade removed for clarity:

see that little black square in the second pic?  that's the chassis.

Also, quick question:  Let's say that the guy who built the real-life Run Away was mad at you for some reason.  Would this be acceptable as a token of apology?

There sure are a lot of tribar HS's here.  My signature bot will be something different:

You should probably say how many slots are left in the UK and US, just so that people know if one gets full.

How many on both sides do we got?

Based on the number of people who have submitted, we've got 4 for the US and 5 for the UK.  However, I haven't counted how many people have said they would submit a bot, and I suspect more UK people will be entering

Occam's Razor.

Is what you need if your member is so hairy that it "sticks to you and won't stop"

@Badnik96 - Stagfish just worded the question wrong, that's all. Also, your name is now on the list.

@Sonny_Ressetti - Just a bit of a misunderstanding, that's all....

It's cool.  As long as it works for you, I'm happy.

Incidentally, have you decided on what the format will be, ie who faces whom in the first round?

Bondi-Titch:

In case you couldn't read it, it says "Let's get Hammered" across the front, and "G'Day and "Stoked" in back.

Rosie the Riveter:

Also, I've decided to finally make the transition to DSL.  In the past, all my replicas were made in a stock copy that had all the DSL components, but now I'm going to officially upgrade to DSL.

@Sonny_Ressetti

Your robot has custom components, please may you resend it without the custom components.

I sent you copies of all the custom components, did you extract them?

Not expecting it to win or anything, but I like how it looks.

You too, eh?  I'm really starting to worry about the US's chances

Believe me, if I had found a file by that name, I would've known.  I gave up made my own copy of it, so it al worked out in the end.
