You mean you've lied to us this whole time? Definitely not a gentleman then. You should hang your head in shame.
yep, :thumbup

I don't really follow the instructions of the zone...

Ah yes, you don't follow THIS Parsec Zone, you follow another one. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you: "Code Red's ACTUAL Parsec Zone".
- Declare before your match that you're deafening yourself to concentrate.
- Don't drive your bot upon activation, allowing someone else to drive for you. (Such a gentleman!)
- Suddenly come back and start driving again before driving yourself into the pit.
- Make a fuss about how you were "lagging" to try and avoid the fact you drove into the pit again.
- Ragequit while constantly saying "I'M A BAD DRIVER GUYS, I'M A BAD DRIVER!" and declaring the host to rig the tournament against you. (Oh, forget what I said about being a gentleman.)
- ???
- Profit? Nah, there's no profit here...you just look like an imbecile.

Lesson of the day guys: don't listen to people who don't know what they're talking about and be able to accept defeat! Be a Gentleman, don't be a Code Red. ;)
There is no parsec zone orc, no matter what way you put it

you may wonder how I drive so well in certain parsec battles, it's because of something I like to call "T H E Z O N E", and here is a tutorial to get into T H E Z O N E
-I recommend meditation before getting into the zone, as it calms and clears your mind of anything
- make sure there no audible distractions
- make sure you don’t have to take a dump/eat/ect
- just focus on the bots, think of the moves, ignore everything else
-after that make sure you know exactly what is happening at the moment
You are almost there
- make sure you have yourself a snack with high sugar content (quick reaction time due to high energy)
- Pay attention only to the screen, blink when you need to, never stop looking at the screen
That is how you get to T H E Z O N E (probably only works 10% of the time as most of the time you will have occurred a distraction)

You don’t need all these steps for fighting a match in RA2, you just fight the match, no matter how you are, and sugar isn’t the best idea for a match- it makes your brain race= hastily built bot = bad luck in tournament.
If you didn't know already, this was a joke from the beginning

Of course it was! This is definitely something you don't do and then get angry when it doesn't work...right? Nah, I MUST be thinking of someone else. :dumb)
I don't really follow the instructions of the zone, I tried to make it a meme and it didn't really work as I wanted to, I wanted it to be ironic and stupid, and it backfired completely

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Gacha Life People Based on Robots
« on: December 28, 2018, 11:57:49 AM »
I don't care if people don't care about this, but I'll do it anyway.

So, basically, I'm looking at people's robot showcases to find inspiration for people in Gacha Life. So far, I have:
Apotheosis by Doot
Cujo Evo by MrBK (I think)
Neon Nights by geese
Gandora by MrBK (I think)
Endless Winter by Doot
Nitrite-X by Bildschirm
Croc by KillerTurtleG

I need just one more robot to transform to anime. Send your robots.
(Sorry, Bildschirm, but please don't send Roka or The Blanc because turning them into anime is too easy.)
Cringe made cujo evo

Since I'm stupid (again), how do you vote?
(Leave me alone, :'( :'( :'( :'()
3 methods (2 are easy but 1 is guaranteed to work)
1. Use discord and PM him
2. Use GTM and PM him
3. Type a letter of everyone who you think deserves each award, with detailed reasons why (each person should have about 1 paragraph dedicated to why they deserve the award) and then mail it to him with overnight shipping, and then you wait until he sends you a letter back saying “cool beans” works every time

It looks a little boring, try to make it interesting, and use external armor as well since chassis armor kinda sucks

Tournament Archives / Re: General Tournament Discussion
« on: December 22, 2018, 06:14:43 PM »
I have an idea for a tournament, but I can't do it by myself.

It's an DSL2.3 IRL tournament that uses a point system to determine the quality and quantity of entrants you want to bring in.

The idea is to encourage a variety in quality of competitors, like in real life. We kinda already have it with the different levels of skill amongst the various builders here, but I think we can go a step further:

Let's have all builders, pros and not pros, use a system where you can either choose between entering a single, super-effective design, or multiple ineffective designs. It would be REALLY hard to figure out what kind of system it would take to make this balanced and fair, so that someone who enters one try-hard design has as much chance to win as a person who enters 5 sh**ty designs. It's almost like a simulation of money: High-end, powerful bots cost a lot, low-end robots don't. The difference is that we all start with the same amount of points, or cash, but what we do with it is different. You could either enter with 1 good entry or several bad entries.  I think it's fair, if it's done right.

What makes for a good design? Something that uses NPC Fasts, is invertible, has a powerful weapon, etc. Anything common that you'd see in try-hard designs. It's ok to make them, but it takes a lot of points. If you have a robot that has a powerful weapon, but can't self-right, or a robot with weak armor, poor drive, etc, then that takes up less points, meaning you can make multiple low-end bots.

It's just an idea, and idea I can't do by myself. What do you all think?
Seems like a good idea

Drum roll doesn’t need a srimech, make the chassis small enough that you don’t need one

I checked the OW3 spreadsheet and it said that Greedee made it in in OW3 by winning the qualifiers.

Oh, i should mention that! Greedee got in through a miricle because pokebros bot had problems and got rejected, so lucky for me :p
I blame Mitch entirely :p

I support Greedee > Poke  :gunz:
Redalert I agree  :gunz:

Don't use Y Extender on FS. Instead put four razer tips on it.
I think I am getting tried of ra2 already.

No offense- that's wrong. Y connectors angle razor tips, and allow FS to easily break HS extender setups.
Y connectors on other bots is a different story.
Wen is actually right

These are just crawlers and bumble balls. And HS with extender wheels

I don't get it
I don’t either but I go along with it

I just made one and its... Not effective  [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

That's a defective one. build one of the ones from the instructions i made, and you'll see what I mean... I have an image of one stowed away somewhere..
I did but that is what I got, should I have drums for wheels instead of regular wheels?
