that stabilizer setup is just no. it's gonna wobble all other the place and promptly fail.
i think a single extender will be more stable even if it is more exposed. do NOT put your stabilizers on skirt hinges on vertical spinners that have nearly no contact with the ground. (VS which have a LOT of contact with the ground, like if you are building gut-ripper ones, are fine to have skirt stabilizers)

You could send in two variants. Massimo allows interchangeable weapons. but id personally skip the hassle and just send in the clamp version. Last time a clamp, Captain Grabbermore managed to do quite well
EDIT: in DSL 2.1 black batteries are terrible. Spinning motors need only one ant per motor to last a minute, so I'd suggest having 4-8 ants i there while using battle packs to juice up the bursts

Screw it. Its battlebots. Its robot combat on my TV. Its on Prime Time TV, Greg and Ed have control, and the guys who helpd work on some of TV's most popular shows are there to make it look good. It got trending on FB and got 4.5k upvotes on Reddit. I feel this has a lot of potential.
Unlike Robogeddon, ABC has already announced the show, and has even sent invites out. And so what if the bots arent fantastic. If its good, we'll see more of it. 6 episodes is not terrible for a pilot season, and the weight class thing DOES Seem sketchy, but I feel its probably well set in likely no tiny ass bots due to invitations.
Im suprised nobody mentioned Donald Hudson, who everyone seems to damn know, and always love bringing his badass bots to the screens.
Hopefully we get more news on this soon. Im really hyped.
we're all hyped. we're just afraid it's going to be 90% drama/backstories with 10% lackluster fights. Like Robot Combat League. but still, the fact that it's coming back is good enough for me. Would love to see what kind of monsters the technology of today can create

If Smentowski enters with anything it'd probably be Breaker Box. Though I'm sure if he was in they'd squeeze in a shot of Nightmare vs Slam Job again at least XD
I guess it all depends on the weight they select. either way, would love to see other veterans come back too.

awwwwwwwwww yisss hope it garners some good views in the 6 episodes they have. would also love to see Smentowski polish up Nightmare for one more run at gold. Last I heard it was a display piece. but honestly any publicity could work. when lab rats had an episode on robot combat, a whole new generation was exposed to the sport
recently Pawn Stars UK had Ripper and Beast on the show for whatever reason. so.. stuff
