So I've gotten back into RA2 and was remaking Replicas of mine which were utter trash.
I feel a little rusty with replica making but I'm pretty happy with these.

I feel Supernova still needs some changes and Araknia's Spider body is too big.
Really like the skinning on these, great job. Hammertron. It's taken me quite a long time to make the mechanism work like the real thing - flailing hammers mounted on a flip-out panel for self-righting.

The first one has a lot of empty space. It could easily be a LW by making the chassis tighter. It's also quite bland, but the skin is alright.
The second one I feel would look better if the bar wasn't so far inside the chassis.
I like the concept of the hammer, but it was poorly executed since the handle is too short and the rest of the bot is uninteresting and about as big as the hammer. I feel like it would look a lot more badass as a HW Hammer rather than a MW SnS. Also, as Lemonism said, drive is overkill and the disk in the middle would look better.

So, I would like to enter a rammer hybrid and yet one who is somewhat effective and not get killed by the first spinner he fights because he has 50kg of weapons.
Yet if I do a non-crappy rammer people are gonna whine because "weapon spam" and "it's not IRL, it's borderline DSL-S". And IRL rammers mostly do damage with their armor and chassis, yet that doesn't work in RA2. What do ?
Beater spam to try and make it look like a chassis so the apparent chassis does damage, like it does in real life ?
I have a design in mind, though.
It really depends. If you send something in that I don't think is IRL, I'm not going to straight up shoo you away. I'll help you out with making it IRL if it doesn't meet expectations.

Ghost raptor is well designed but it broke in a net and its weapon broke normally. awful robot didnt deserve to go through at all really.
I didn't know it was possible to contradict yourself that many times in two sentences.
