Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken I once read here on these forums that Sage said (yes, it was a quote) that there should only be n razor tips on one DDT maximum for best efficiency. Is this correct, and if yes, what is that number?

Hmm, I'm not sure about the ear yet. So far it hasn't been that effective really. In my current build I wrecked it out and extended the wedges with 20 CM. OH GOD THESE WEDGES ARE SOOO LOVELY, I'm not touching these anymore. They slide smoothly under everything.

Now, without the "ear", with the ramplate still ontop (on the baseplate anchor) and 12 razor tips I am at 780.5 kg. This doesn't include razers to protect the extenders of the wedges, but I doubt they are necessary in this case (see pic):

There is only one samurai blade, and I only have the weight for one. Should I still crank it up in the air?

Sorry, what blades?

@NFX: I tried without the ramplate on top before and some vertical spinners were like omnomnomnom even when I am under them.
@Vertigo: Any tips?

@NFX, The samurai blade is a pretty light tall component with 1000HP. How can I ask for more?

iNCineration 3!

Featuring:
No AGOD!
Weapons: 13 razors on two DDT's (yes I know, uneven amount ugh)
Wedges: Bye bye Neglected Waterbug!
Defense: 5 ramplates and hollow chassis
Drivetrain: 4WD and drives straight forward, backwards is horrible
Power: 3 Big Volt's
Special feature: Sword preventing bots going over mine (sort of)

I think I'm going to do a chassis revamp, a bit like neglected waterbug-style.

How useful are blades on the extenders of the wedges? Do they really help a lot? They can easily take up 20-24kg.

EDIT: Another question, is the samurai blade considered "stock" and "legal"?

=S I can't get them to stack, I've tried every possibility with my pixel perfect tool. Am I doing something wrong? (Yes, I am fully zoomed using the overview/chassis zoom trick).

Let me try and stack in that third black.

Underpowered, how so?

And would sacrificing 2 razor tips for 80cm wedges + 60cm razors be worth it?

Alright, iNCinerator v2! (paint job still pending)

Featuring:
No more AGOD! Yay!
Weapons: 14 razors on two DDT's
Wedges: I guess OK
Defense: 6 ramplates + 2 60cm blades
Drivetrain: 4WD and drives straight (well, 95%, backwards is horrible)
Power: 2 Big Volt's

No offense, but this thread is a waste of precious kilobytes of storage on some HD on some server somewhere.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but what is a tech adviser, what does it mean on these forums?

Yes, OpenGL is the obvious alternative to DirectX...

...But Robot Arena 2 uses DirectX and there is no avoiding that.

Could you describe your problems more specificly?

Features added, first post updated.

Sage, are you going to bring out an alternative keybind version again?

I doubt it, often you will lose not one, but two wheels at a time or right after eachother. Without drivetrain a popup is virtually worthless.

But I'll experiment with it.

It's not completely done yet, but the features stated one the first post are all working and implemented. Installation instructions are on the first post as well.

All right, in a few days I will bring out the new version with:

F8 - Alternative for Pause Break since some computers/keyboards lack it
SHIFT+CONTROL+Delete - Rotate 90 degrees to the left
SHIFT+CONTROL+Page Down - Rotate 90 degrees to the right

And most likely Sage will bring out an alternative version with different keys that I will add to the main page also.
