try that, my .exe which seems to work and has a later date than every other file so i'm guessing that's it.
Okay, it loads up now. Thanks for that! Shame the game's still very messed up - the screen gets cramped down to 640x480, then the intro video plays in a separate screen, and then after that it all crashes. Any help here? Pssst... what about an AoD ooone?
The AoD crack can still be found around the internet, just dig around good for 5 minutes and you'll grab it. I actually DL'ed it by mistake whilst looking for the RW:ED patch before coming here.

If it's possible, and we could also create a program that registers AI files and components, we could move it all over to a unity-esque engine and have updated physics, no havok explosions, and battles with more than four robots. That's the dream, anyway.

I was wondering if it'd be possible to retrofit the new, Series 7 skin for the Robot Wars Arena (from RA2RW) onto the older, DSL 2.1 arena. I tried directly porting the map over to DSL 2.1, and it's a bit too dark for my tastes, so maybe just porting the skins would resolve this?

Are we on about the size of all of our RA2 folders combined, or just the largest single RA2 folder? I keep all various metagames in seperate folders, that's why I'm asking.
