Glorious 3DS master race dropping in here. Online is a pain, as hadouken is mapped to the TOUCH SCREEN. And not even Vega, my favourite character, can do anything about it. *sigh*.

We took a team of 4 into the End, with one task. Kill an enderman. There were no survivors.
Maybe we should try getting weapons next time. 424

I've gotten 4/5 of the full polycount sets. All I need is that damn softcap.

Consolation Prize: Lose on the final round in the tournament by either pitfall or scoring 100 points (or lower) less than your opponent.
That's what you get for touching that: Drive into a trap, either killing you or causing a pitfall. 426

Robot wars could probably be used as fair use. Don't rely on me for that one though.

Of course AI can and should be improved, but how easy would this be able to do on a bot-by-bot basis? Making an AI pack based around this idea for example would probably take ages.
No, don't worry about telling me I'm wrong, I've gotten used to that. 429

Work on minivore should still continue, but meanwhile, I made something (with a lot of co-operation with ty4er)

Stock Showcases / Re: The Wakkydude Showcase V2« on: September 08, 2011, 10:21:36 AM »The minimum chassis height you need for this bot is three "clicks" tall, which is when the slider moves up from the lowest level by three pixels. You need a keen eye to do this properly, but then the Nifty will just fit in. What you can also do is stack the Control Board into the Nifty, but this does take quite a bit of trial and error. Because of the Snowplow's collision mesh, though, if you try to attach it to a Baseplate anchor pointing directly out of the chassis, it won't work. You'd need a 20cm extender to make it work.I have the feeling I wouldn't be able to do this on my own. Anyone up for some skype guiding for this? 435

I couldn't fit it in the 1X1 grid space square I tried to put it in. If I make it any bigger the whole CHASSIS has to scale up! If someone wants to add me on skype for actual tutorials on how to do this stuff, feel free 436

The snowplow update is still being worked on, rebuilding the WHOLE chassis for this is actually quite hard. I will instead show my latest update that raises the motors (could afford to raise them one more probably, currently on 2), a nifty and a HP Z-Tek

WHEN I FIND THE PERSON WHO MADE THIS BOT LAB I will get out a very pointy and sharp instrument and repeatedly hit them every day for the rest of their life and even when they're dead.
It gives me no indication that my new chassis is actually bigger, then it refuses to fit stuff that CLEARLY HAS SPACE AROUND IT, and then after ages of toiling around with the batteries, the BASEPLATE ANCHOR FOR THE SNOWPLOW WON'T FIT HNNNNNG 438
Stock Showcases / Re: The Wakkydude Showcase V2: READ PAGE 15 YOU COWS, I'M TRYING AGAIN« on: September 06, 2011, 12:51:31 PM »Needs a nifty as has been said before and if you want, you can get a blue snapper in there and attach everything onto it with t-connectors or preferably, extenders for that little bit of extra speed (debatable) Nifty replacing the black or there with the black? I cannot find the space to fit one currently UNLESS you mean replacing or you can correct me on this. Again, I would like to add snowplows, but it seems a little... spaceless. Again, if you can find the space, please correct me. UNLESS I add a slot for it on the front of the chassis... maybe. Oh, and in the wise words of the engineer, "Gotta move that gear up!" I'll be right on that one. 439

Stock Showcases / Re: The Wakkydude Showcase: Thread returns on page 15, please give me another chance« on: September 06, 2011, 12:43:29 PM »It only needs a nifty, actually. And shinies are lighter and you can make the bot invertible. You can use the rest of the weight for MOAR RAZORS! I was going to make a proper new OP for page 15 and put you in a "respected feedback-givers" section. But then I realized I couldn't be bothered to make that |
