Regarding the drum, I built something like that about a year ago, but its wedges sucked.  Yours are probably better though.

Personally, I find that having more individual weapons on gut-rippers is better; try a combination of small beater bars and small DS teeth.

You could probably get away with 6 ants on the hammer, but the output from the motors might not be as much.

Add wedges.

I had some free time during my vacation so I installed DSL on my sh**ty laptop and made these:

Grisly Bear rebuild:
10 ants, 5mm titanium, NPC fasts, 18 bear claws, and the CB is in front of the drive motors.

From testing the wedges seem decent, and it is stable.

Tip of the Iceberg rebuild:
1mm titanium, 5 icepicks, , everything else is visible.

Right now I'm not sure if it is up to today's standards, but I'd definitely say it's better than the current NAR AI version.  It is somewhat unstable, but can self-right well enough.

Razer can self-right, has 4-wheel omnidrive, and can let go of opponents at will.

But doesnt because Ian Lewis is evil.
The reason I voted for Tiberius.

IMO The best choice for this is FBS_1.py.  It can be hard to learn at first, but Mad has a download of it somewhere with an easy-to-use tutorial.

Alternatively you can use FBS.py, which is easier to use and will allow your bot to move while spinning, but will give your bot less sweeping power making it perform worse against wedges.

It's your choice.

Build an entire robot while blindfolded?  I have to try that!

THE NAME DOESN'T FIT BECAUSE IT'S TOO SMALL FOR IT TO BE MAJOR AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I know lol.  I was lazy when coming up with an adjective that wasn't too far from "heckish", seeing how that is kind of the HW version.

Maybe you can put a caster on the bottom if you want more protection.
I don't have 6 kilos to spare, unless I change the DSL bars to flipper segments, which I don't think will work.

Slashback v3, beaten ? Damn it.
That's Razorback 3, not Slashback 3 lol.

Anyway, tomorrow I'm leaving for 10 days on vacation to the Pacific Northwest, mainly Seattle and Vancouver (I'm comin' for ya R0B0 >:D), and I wanted to post some bots before I go.

3mm plastic, 4 ants, 6 small beater bars and DS teeth.

A decent LW drum, and can be quite damaging once it reaches a chassis.  It's not very good against most SnS, but can beat a few other bot types.

5mm titanium, 4 ants, 2 70kg, 1 60kg, and 4 55kg hammers.

Another weird SnS, based off the one I posted earlier.  Stability is still low and realism is still questionable.  It still managed to kick the crap out of Black Storm though.

Normal NPCs, 5mm plastic, 3 ants, 8 small DS teeth, 4 small beater bars, and 4 large beater bars.

I don't know if this has been done before; a Sadrabbit/Drunk Driving-style VS in DSL.  It's not as good as my last MW VS, since it's easier to flip and can't self-right as well, but it's still pretty damaging.

I know this tournament is just for fun, but still bots from one weight class should only fight other bots of the same weight class.  Its just common sense.

I think Death Star will win this because of its sheer power compared to the rest of the competitors.

Crosswind is my only bot in this?  That's disappointing, also because it looks like it will lose its first match, but I still think it can get a couple of wins.

Preliminary predictions:

Hellish Charm > Undeadbeat - Undeadbeat won't be able to keep Hellish Charm in its grasp long enough to de-shell it.

Weapon Array > Francium - Francium is fast, but Weapon Array is powerful enough to keep Francium away.

Caesium > Code Yellow - It all comes down to weaponry, and Code Yellow just doesn't have enough.

Marvin > Critical Emergency - Neither of them are really great, but CE just doesn't have the strength to throw Marvin out of the arena.

Fast 'N Furious > Ramjet - Popup vs. rammer, 'nuff said.

Cataclysm 2 >Pyrotechnic Display 3.1 - Pyrotechnic Display just isn't stable enough to get to the vulnerable center of Cataclysm.

Luckiest: 090901 (I was not expecting him to win against Pwnator, expecially with the bots chosen for their match)

Unluckiest: Pwnator (see above)

SFTW: S_M, it's a nice looking replica though.

Most suprising: Jonzu95 (wasn't expecting them to finish third)

Best looking: Scrap Daddy

Most original/creative: Joeblo

Are the spinners on Bad Attitude not too high?

Very nice except for 1mm steel.  Put 1mm titanium on it instead or, if you can, 3mm plastic.

Major Uproar:

5mm plastic, 3 ants, Normal NPCs, 12 small DS teeth and 4 large beater bars.

I wanted to make a Candy Bar-style VS, as well as a VS with an E-Tek (I think I have yet to make a good bot that uses an E-Tek weapon motor).  I didn't expect it to perform well after seeing how exposed the chassis bottom was, but once I put it in the arena I was quite surprised:

Can't believe I managed to beat Second Sunrise with one disc, nor that I beat Erasure at all.

Flip the plow over so it can trap bots more easily.

Freeziez what are you talking about?  Two of them clearly have rear armor, if only a little, and they're all MWs.

Ounce, the arenas are supposed to be OotA-able.
Apparently Giga did say that but he still didn't give any other idea of what the arena would be like.
