Modern = Check
To do with war = Check
Shooters = check

Holy heck that is a seriously stupid way to give logic.

You are the dumbest person on GTM. You deserve a medal, and some pop-up books.

LOL THE MARKET IS BEING FLOODED WITH ROBOT GAEMS

Look, Robot Arena, The Robot Wars games, Roboforge, Bot Arena!

Let's see:

Has robots = CHECK
Build robots = CHECK
fight robots = CHECK

SEE TOTALLY FLOODED MARKET DERP LOL

not flooding the market? ok then let's list the modern war shooters for ya...

Counter-strike
Call of Duty
Battlefield
Medal of Honor
Rainbow Six
Ghost Recon
and more...

they pretty much all have a load of squeals too! 6 franchises, all pretty much still releasing games in a single sub-genre. You can quit with the name calling too.

HAVE YOU EVEN PLAYED THESE GAMES YOU MORON?

Counter strike, Battlefield, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six have waaaaay less in common with the genre you are complaining about, and even with the recent additions, Counter Strike is so absolutely different it might as well be goddamn alien.

Edit: Counter strike's latest version:

MW3:

I'd like to hear your reasoning, sys.

Calling a subgrenre the "future of gaming" is so insultingly stupid everytime it happens Peter Jackson gets brain cancer.

Fixed your title there.

Limbo, Minecraft, God of War1, 2, 3, Borderlands 1, 2, Warhammer: Dawn of War, Team Fortess 2, Pixeljunk Shooter, Risen 2, Mass Effect 1, 2, 3, Sim City, Marvel vs Capcom, Braid...

This thread is stupid, biased and fails on a logical basis.
what? you can't tell me that having a bunch of different gaming series all pretty much the same that are flooding the gaming market isn't a bad thing.

It isn't flooding any market, retard. They are niche games with high publicity because the niche they market is large.

You took a subgenre of the FPS genre and called it all of gaming. Please break your discs and never set foot near videogames again.

Behold.

It's the illigitimate child of Heaven's Sawmill and Alien Queen.

I made it in about an hour, the hard part was the Irons and stuff. It drifts to the left, and that was before I castered it. Doesn't self right, it's chained.

I think it's good enough for the Stock circut, which is kinda funny considering my last 3 bots had more time spent on it than this thing.

(If MLPwnies starts up, you'll see a massive gamble of a bot design.)

r/atheism is all the bad things about reddit condensed.

The place could be fixed, but the only active mod is this 15 year old grade A asshole who's basically trolling.

Not really, I'd argue that Dead Metal would beat Matilda very easily. Faster, wide stance, decent weapons...

I totally expect a flare jumper.

431
From my memory of the RW documentary, Matilda's head was mostly sculpted. The eyes and tusks were made out of more durable parts and were seperate, but there were several faces. I remember they said they made five or seven initially.

"Dear Princess Celestia,

Everyone is happy now! I did what you said, and sprayed my magic friendship dust with my magic hose and the BLU team danced with joy! They got tired however and fell asleep. My team is happy too. They lifted me up and carried me home!

Sometimes they aren't as friendly, though. I might have to use my friendship dust to sort that out, then everything will be okay.

Pyro."

They are mostly hollow though.

I think Shove and Shunt also fit.

I'd love to see a Shunt/DM fight.

Sorry for late reply, but:

I don't know how to fix the first problem.  It seems this is an unforeseen and unavoidable side effect of the code I used.  The only solution I can think of is to make another .py especially for 4-way flipper rumbles.

The second problem is easier to handle, I just need to add a customizable srimech time delay.  I'll get on that.

Maybe adding a small bit that looks for the next attackable opponent? Or abuse the teams system and make Opponents flipped teammates as long as they are flipped?

I'm now imagining an incredibly terrible horror movie where the house robots gain sentience and start killing people who wander into the BBC warehouse.

Let's give all the poor people money so they can learn to have everything given to them instead of actually making them find a job and work for it!

Can you repeat that? I'm too busy basking in racial and gender equality to care.

The bot will be good up unil it meets an actual HS or drill or whatever.

I tried an axle HS before, the result is that they all apart in seconds because there is no "pushing".

HS vs HS fights are decided by the HS weapon speed, not for damage, but for the hits. The slower HS will always take a knock to the extender and do less damage because all the speed it from the powered HS and thus less. As such, the weapons fall off easily.

Rammers though, it's an alright idea.

find a way to put the ramplate in front. on top it's pretty bad... since there's like only one hammer bot that can ever come close to beating it.
I think it's okay on the top. What if it gets flipped over against a popup or other undercutter?
That's what I was thinking about there. The motors are going to be protected by the weapons, and if the weapons do go, then the motors become a bit pointless.

A meaty FS could mess that bot up, but you don't normally get anything out of the HS-rammer-Popup-VS quad these days in RA2.
