There are so many more deserving bots that should be on this list I feel.

First word of advice: Dont listen to FOTEPX.

Second: You have somewhat of an original feel going here. So do not deviate from it. If you want to keep the front armor/wedge as snowplows, then tilt them a teeeeensy bit like

       /        \
      /          \
     /            \

which will help the feed up the front of the bot. However, remember that snowplows are quite fragile. As NFX mentioned above, the way that the plows are right now are quite useless. If you aren't going to use at least one of them perpendicular to the grid to trap up top, then at least remove those both and double up on the front. Otherwise, make sure those extenders are protected and everything is space efficient...which by the looks of it, it already does. I don't even think you need to widen the wedges up front; if they are very effective then keep them as is. Widening the snowplows will naturally give it a wider feel. Otherwise, very nice product.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Your Favorite Bands
« on: August 02, 2011, 11:56:44 AM »
I listen to lots of different music. I'll give you my favorite from some certain genres.

A Day To Remember
Attack Attack!
Atreyu
Of Mice & Men
August Burns Red
Abandon All Ships! (I know...)
A Skylit Drive
The Devil Wears Prada
Avenged Sevenfold
Bullet for my Valentine
Underoath
That's Outrageous!
...yeah that covers the Post-Hardcore aspect...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everybody loves Rock N Roll...

Led Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
The Clash
Lynyrd Skynyrd
The Beatles
Boston
Black Sabbath
Van Halen
Steve Miller
Queen

--------------------------------------

I like rap/hip-hop soon. Most of these good artists are infamous though... (Eminem, Biggie....)

There are some up-and-comers also, especially some indie guys. Anyone heard of Tyler the Creator? He's pretty alright.

I really like Wiz and Drake too...but only they're old stuff and mixtapes, none of that main stream bull.

-------------------------------

I like a lot of music. But this is what I often listen to.

I'm guessing it is God awful, and I wonder why you even thought it was a good idea to showcase this bot because of it's complete un-usefulness.

Fixed.

You need a little more than help.
Look I'll learn anything as long as that I'm so far into it and then noone asks `Rebuild the Chassis`.

Like I said...you need help...because you are retarded if you don't catch my drift.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Top Metal Albums of all time!
« on: August 02, 2011, 08:42:44 AM »
"Metal" is a pretty general genre. If this was at all any specific, I'd join in. Too many different genres to include one harmonious top ten...some good and funny ones here though.

My old robots were flat-out terrible, with the exception of like 1 or 2.
I think Kill still has Ancient Clock, but that might be stretching it.

QFT...you were an odd mystery. I couldnt tell if you were six or half autistic...OK sorry that was poor taste.

But I love the new J. RA2 is as strong as its ever been!

Just looking at this showcase reminds me of the Armadillo days...and trust me...the current state/quality of your bots are more than satisfactory compared to what you used to try and build on the old forums...good ol' days...

I saw you lurking last night at 3AM and I knew good things were about to happen.

QFT.

Hi, FB, good to see you. Hope you polish up those skills and compete in CBs tournament just like this every once and a while!

I've followed combat robotics for the last 12 years of my life. Warrior SKF, Professor Chaos, and Gyrobot are the ones that deserve entry from this list.
