That one sucks. I agree with ribbs on this one. However, while most HS look the same, the real fun in building them comes from creating a unique setup that is challenging to build and effective at the same time.

ya I was trying to think on that, maybe ballasts? idk if castors have a weight that counts That's the reason I put them there. For ballast and possible protection from (really) low cutting HS.

the front castors, are they a bit useless? What would you recommend using the weight for?

I probably could slant the sides towards the battery, and the space in the front is for the castors. Sage, would you mind if I see your ARBBC heavyweight entry? I'm a little interested in it. I'll see if I can find it. Lemme go dust off my hard drive and I'll BRB.

Not bad. I like the castors. Looks like theres a good amount of empty space though.

 4 Blacks, 8 Razors. I thought a kick-ass bot deserved a kick-ass splash.

Oh man... I don't think you can beat last year's bots. Frosty and the Tree were just the bestest.

It looks really cool, but wouldn't it be better if you just spam ramplates on that front? No. The way the axes are places allows bots to slide up really easy. The middle one also holds the other bot in place as is hits the underside. And yes, it looks cooler too. VB- that's Absolute Chaos :D

Pulse 1 Possible upgrades? Take off all the frontal armor, engineer a way for 4 battle axes to protect the front, and alittle to the sides. Than switch the Snapper2s for DDTs That\'s a 1-hit KO against Diamond 4. Insides are basically same as Pulse 1. IMPROVEMENTS- Pushed the weapon DDTs forward, making a bigger hit. Armor better protects middle and looks cooler. Holds bot up better for a cleaner hit. Switched the Snapper2 wedges for DDT wedges, making them better. Also allows it to self-right now. Battle axes are slightly inside the wedge extenders, so bots with wedges slide up easier. Rotated razors to protect extenders better. Probably my favorite bot I have built. :D

Very nice.
The razors are horrible placed though. You have the flat side facing out, meaning the scraping and grinding potential is severely reduced. Rotate all the razors 60 degrees (making the point edge stick out).
You'll see a difference in performance. If when you do this, the razors scrape the ground, lower the wedges to lift the bot off the ground a bit. Ever notice how tilted up BBG is? Same concept.

Hey folks. I'm gonna jump to the chase-
I need to put things in my own life ahead of GTM and RA2.
I spend too much time here, and doing stuff relating to RA2. I do it because I enjoy it, but I need to set aside my enjoyment for a while and focus on what needs to be done.
As for RAW, it will probably be the slowest moving tourney ever. But, it will get done. When I really, truly have time I will record matches as efficiently as possible. Madiaba and Trovaner have worked exceptionally hard on making a kick-butt arena, and I won't let them down on giving them a kick-butt tourney. It just may take a little longer than y'all are used to.

I had an idea! O WAIT it's inf's. I was just wondering. I know a lot of times I build something and didn't someone else built something that was pretty much the same thing.

Someone should show this guy the RA2 Wiki. He seems kinda out of the loop.

Yay! My blue extenders!
Anyways, the HS looks a lot like some bot in Inf's Ai pack (ReaXion?) The VS will wobble. Maces don't work on tribar VS. (Unless yours is somehow different.)
I like the use of DDT wedges for both. Did the idea come from inf's Lightkeeper?
And yes, the stock showcase IS really slow. I'll try and build something tonight.
