Either Shinies changed weights or something's up with your math Sage... Hm. shinies are 12 kgs right? and grannies are 18 right? thats a difference of 6 kgs for each wheel, and since he has 4 grannies, 6x4 = 24...

make the irons perfect, not the weird rotations you have going on... will allow them to hit at the same time.
Will shinies not work? if they do you an save 24 kgs, which you can use to protect the motors or the front more.

Arena should be done today, maybe tomorrow. Vids will start when I have time over the week. Depends on the homework I have.

WEBSITE WINNER'S BRACKET SEMIFINAL InfiniteInertia vs. R0B0SH4RK What a match. Many surprises, much action, and well built robots. A match worth watching for sure. Pay attention to the ending of the last match, it's quite a twist :) Clickbeetle vs. R1885 Definitely semifinal material! At the beginning i was like "HMMM. two VS vs two HS... I WONDER WHO WILL WIN." But after actually fighting the bots I can tell you, you'll be entertained by this match. Great music too :) Winner's Bracket Quarter Finals InfiniteInertia vs. Roboman and Doomkiller Inf really knew what he was doing when he entered that wedged HS... it really does a number on Witch. However, OMG YKK and it's super low undercutting irons make it tough for Inf to get a good hold on it. And Inf's other HS is super solid. Watch for multiple OOTAs and an AWESOME FIRE KO! GameKing vs. Clickbeetle An all out HS brawl. As expected, Clickbeetle's undercutting HS performs very well against Gameking, but has trouble when the plow gets knocked off, mainly because it sometimes stops the weapons from spinning (as if actual physics step in when it parts from the bot). Both teams suffer from instability and mobility problems once unbalanced, which can lead to some longer matches than one would expect. Great fight, watch out for a CLAW KO! RedlineM203 vs. R1885 An interesting match, seeing as there are no HS. My apologies, but for some reason FRAPS lagged to death in a few parts of this. The two VS seem to gain the upper hand with their long reaching wedges, but once one of the popups breaks free, the VS are easily flanked. Nice TRIPLE claw KO in one of the matches... :D R0B0SH4RK vs. Pwnator and The Ounce All big names in stock building, this fight should have been epic. Unfortunately, two SnS on different teams means they kill everything else and then just sit there. The beginning of each fight is entertaining though, so definitely worth a watch. Round 2 Loser's Bracket Jack Daniels vs. Duck JD's choice to use 2 bots with no wedges doesn't really work out here against an HS and a popup. Fun, quick match to watch, but a little one sided. Greenbot and Natef vs. Scrap Daddy Two unarmored popups vs. two heavily weaponed spinners. Yep. BUT WAIT! We know how the arena treats SnS, and this match is no exception. Plus, Scraps RADHS has no wedge, so the popups can get under it relatively un-scathed. Could Green and Nate pull out a win? Starcore and ACAMS vs. S.T.C. If ACAMS's SnS wasn't so havoky, this would have been much less of a close match. It's effectiveness is severely dampened by that. But, we all know how amazing Fury is, so that pretty much makes up for it. And flying spinners do have a tendency to land right on top of the opponent... S.T.C.'s bots put up a good fight, and the matches aren't one sided at all. H@zm47 vs. Urjak Quite a fun, destructive match. Star rats pack some punch with their sturdy maces and rack of axes (although those don't do much because of the rats' slow sped), but Hazmat's pusher is designed to take out those pesky HS. Coupled with his dual motor HS, Haz's team is quite formidable. You can never underestimate a team of HS, however, which is exactly what Urjak has. Trumpetguy and Viper vs. 090901 One of the more boring matches of the tourney so far. For some reason I get a lot of lag in this match (sorry about that). Anyways, 09's HS has an incredibly difficult time moving, and the opponent has a SnS that just sits there and, well, spins. 09's popup has the most mobility out of the group but having an unarmored front is quite dangerous when facing two spinners. 09's bots are a little more well built than the other two, but a razor is still a razor and that SnS has a lot of them. Reier and Naryar vs. Roboquad My favorite match of the round, this fight has action, speed, and just all around goodness. Quite a few nice popup smashes and some intense pile ups, with both sides sporting nicely built and very destructive bots. As always, unarmored popups (and even armored ones) tend to get pretty smashed up when fighting alongside spinners. However, since I-blitz has a hard time moving around and the other spinner is an SnS, the popups actually get to duke it out without being interrupted. A rare wedge-vs-wedge battle occurs a few times, and unfortunately for Reier it looks like Bermuda Peril has the upper hand. However, Reier's popup does come equipped with armor in contrast to Bermuda. Can it last long enough to start its attack on I-Blitz? And even if it doesn't, will Roboqaud's bots have enough left in them to take out the spinning bot of doom? Madiaba and Pyscolone vs. Sage Another fight that I quite enjoyed. My speedy razor devils can shred almost anything... if they can get under it. Unfortunately, both of their wedges suck. Also, FS usually have a tough time against HS, especially one sporting as many razors as Debaitor has. But because of Mad's inventive AI, Pysc's popup stays out of the fighting for the beginning, allowing both War&Peace to converge on the HS. This, however, is what DeBAITor was designed for. But are the two FS too much to handle? Russian Roulette vs. Wham Two popups vs two speedy HS. This match is actually very entertaining, with lots of destruction in short amounts of time. Simply put, the HS have more weapons and smaller chassis. Razors are extremely damaging, especially to almost unarmored popups like Wham's. However, we all know how just one or two lucky hits can dramatically change the course of the match... Round 2 Winner's bracket Roboshark vs. Trumpetguy and Viper Robo's SnS has a lot of maces, and they are moving very fast. Viper's and trumpet's HS does not have a lot of maces. The usual outcome? Well, you can guess. But we forget the other two bots. The other team has an SnS of their own, and it has a lot of razors. Robo's popup has no armor and not a lot of razors. The usual outcome? Well, you can guess. But if you mix and match these two battles, this fight becomes pretty cool. Madiaba and Pyscolone vs. InfiniteInertia
Wow, what a great gathering of big names in RA2. Madiaba and his inventive AI tactics, Pyscolone and his sleek popup, and Infinite with his lethal HS's. There's only so much insight I can give on this match, because I think you should watch it yourself. Will the diversion of Debaitor work, or will the all around defense and offense of the two HS be too much to handle?
Roboquad vs. Pwnator and The Ounce
A fast paced, explosive match between two pairs of well-built bots. While Roboquad wins in terms of mobility with his popup, Pwnator brings in some tuff defense with his mace SnS. And both sides have a powerful HS to duke it out. A very hard to call match that is definitely worth watching.Pwnator and The Ounce win 2-1
Doomkiller and Roboman vs. Russian Roullette
Woah, 4 HS Battle Royale. Russian's two twin HS seem to be at the disadvantage with their razors facing irons and maces, but you should never forget razors tendency to knock those weak extenders off. Plus, Russian's bots are both equipped with the slightly faster Redbird motors for drive. Will this be enough to take down the defense of the other HS?
Doomkiller and Roboman win 3-0
Gameking vs. Jack DanielsA classic example of a HS vs VS fight. As much as I usually try not to give away the ending, this fight is a tough one for JD.
Clickbeetle vs. Natef and Greenbot
Two of the best MW HS's with high-damage razors against two unarmored popups built by normies. One sided? Well, maybe not... The music in this match makes it extremely fun to watch.RedlineM203 vs. S.T.C.
Red's popups are very well built. Nice wedge, good weaponry, and fast drive. So this battle should be a piece of cake, right? Not so much. The popups have one huge disadvantage, which the castor armored fronts. More often than not, the other robot stops halfway up the wedge. This is very dangerous against a FS and a HS, because the popups are hitting weapons instead of chassis. However, the same can be said for the other team, when the popups are half under them. Interesting match. R1885 vs. H@zm47
With their superior wedges, Red&Blue make fodder out of the rammer. However, the other team mate is far more deadly. We all know how extremely damaging razors are to extenders and chassis, an Hazmat's HS is chock full of them. Can the VS get rid of that darn HS before they start falling apart? WATCH OUT for the best moment so far in the tourney, in my opinion. Very end of round.
Round 1 Loser's Bracket Somebody vs. Urjak
The match that really defeats the purpose of RAW 2, with both sides having two of the same bot. In previous matches we have seen the dreaded claw lay waste to many a SnS, and now there's two of them on the same team. Urjak's bots, the rammer/HS hybrid, are pushy but small, and constantly run into each other. The wide flails on Somebody's SnS easily hit the sides of Urjak's bots once the HS half is gone. But can the SnS last long enough against the hazards of the arena? Watch for a cool hazard kill at the end of round 2.
SSG and Jonzu vs. Starcore and ACAMSSSG and Jonzu are going up against a lot of weapons. Both opponents ae nearly impervious until every spike, mace, and razor is ripped off. Unless, of course, you have a popup. Which is exactly what Jonzu built. Minesweeper doesn't even have a wedge, however. The good news is that it also has a lot of weapons. Will the defense of Minesweeper paired with the sneaky attack of Exterminatus be enough to take down two of the most famed builders in the game?
Starcore and ACAMS win 2-1
Scrap Daddy vs. Kill343gs
Two unarmored popups against two heavily weaponed spinners. The outcome? Not as one sided as you think. In fact, Kill's loaded rupting actually seems to work in this match. That, coupled with Rolo's sneaky razor popup attack, can really make a dent in what would look to be a very powerful team of spinning weapons. And we all know how the arena likes to handle SnS...
Duck vs. Man Manu
This was a very close match that could have gone either way. Manu's rammer is quite odd in the fact the it has a DDT flipper on it as well, which probably ends up being of more use than its row of axes. Duck's Weedge has a very good wedge but the weapons are a tad lacking, as well as a huge chassis for his partner, the HS, to hit accidentally. Manu's other bot, a popup, is nice and small, however, making it a harder target for the deadly undercut of Duck's HS. 090901 vs. Hypnodisc7
A quick and fun match. Clearly, 090901's bots are better built and have better weapons, but as with all tourneys there are always upsets. Could Hypno's HS be perfectly angled to easily take out the extenders on 09's slow moving spinner? And will Hypno's drum lay waste to BoneShaker's unprotected front? Watch to find out. Or read, if you'd like :D
Craaig and Joeblo vs. Reier and Naryar
Now that Naryar has his dummy AI for his SnS, it becomes much more of a threat and makes the matches so that they don't drag on. This SnS is a beast, and once it gets spinning there's no way for the other team's bot to stop it. However, the arena claw has no troubles when dealing with the barely moving SnS, as we have seen before. With Craaig and Joe's inventive team coupled with the arena hazards, this match could very well go either way. And remember, an SnS hurts its partner a lot too.
40757 vs. Sage
Unfortunately for me, 40757 outwedges both my bots with his popup, and his FS is on par wedginess. An FS can't do anything when a bot is under it, or so one would think. Because both of them are equipped with fast HPZ motors, occasionally they can slip away from the top of the opponent and flank them. I wish this happened all the time :). I really enjoyed this match, lots of action, lots of cool things going on. Definitely worth watching.TiLT vs. Wham
Wow, a popup vs popup battle. In this case, whoever has the best wedge wins, and in the beginning of the matches it looks like Wham has the upper hand in that respect. But in this kind of battle, an upside down popup is just as good as one that's right side up. There's a really cool acrobatic flip by Horizon in fight 2 you should watch out for.
ROUND 1
Man Manu vs. R0b0sh4rk
I really enjoyed this match, a lot. It takes both of Manu\'s bots to take out Bullet Witch, and if they actually can finish the job, Synergy can usually take what\'s left out pretty quickly. But what happens when an UN-invertible SNS becomes inverted...?
Trumpetguy and Viper89 vs. DuckRA2
While The Assassin is Back isn\'t much of a killer, Tornado 2 really can wreak some havoc. Then spinning razors of doom work well against both HS and popup, the the relatively slow spinning makes sure it doesn\'t send itself off the edge. However, both of Duck\'s bots are better built, and popups are a great choice in this arena.Trumpetguy and Viper win 2-1
Roboquad vs Scrap Daddy
Both good builders, making a good match. I-Blitz has trouble moving with it\'s slow drive motors, Bermuda Peril\'s low amount of weapons hinders its effectiveness. Both of Scrap\'s bots are very nice, but Arrow Head, being a SnS, suffers from the CLAW. Because SnS don\'t avoid hazards on purpose, they don\'t care if they are close to the CLAW or not. Parasite is a very good bot but is barely effective when on top of a popup. Unless it\'s upside down...
Pwnator & The Ounce vs. Kill343GS
Loaded rupting fails. Pwnator and The Ounce win 3-0
SSG & Jonzu95 vs Madiaba & Pyscolone
*Note about Mad's bot: While working on the arena he had no time to build a bot. He had a friend build the original Debaitor for him, and he just reworked the weapons more to his liking.*
Because Madiaba has the know-how, he and Trov made a special AI for his team. See if you can figure it out. I think it works pretty well...
The great defense the Debaitor has makes it a formidable opponent, and Tweek is a popup built by the current popup master. A very nicely put together team. Minesweeper, however, is great at taking off HS weapons. If TWEEK is taken out, can Debaitor take on two bots at once? One of my favorite matches of round 1.Madiaba and Pyscolone win 2-1
Starcore and ACAMS vs Infinite Inertia
Probably the the match I most looked forward to when I made the bracket, this fight doesn\'t disappoint. A great mix of HS, SnS, and wedgy HS, all built by some of the best stock builders in the community. One fight you don\'t want to miss.Infinite Inertia wins 2-1
Somebody vs Doomkiller and Roboman2444
I\'m surprised Somebody has the only dual SnS team in the tourney. It seems like it would be a very deadly combination. But, we all know that this arena is particularly bad for SnS... the CLAWS can really mess things up.
Doomkiller and Roboman win 2-1
Urjak vs Russian Roulette
A battle between dual HS. Very destructive, very fun to watch. Which is better, a fast HS or one with a row of axes?
Gameking3 vs. 090901
Not a bad match, not too long either. BoneShaker, with its unarmored front, has a tough time against the dual HS team, and BoneBreaker has some severe movement issues caused by the really skinny wheel base. However, BoneBreaker\'s all around defense/offense from the stacked spinning maces give Amonia & Bleach a run for their money.
Hypnodisc7 vs Jack Daniels
Quite an odd match. One would expect Jack\'s dual VS to quickly dispatch of Hypno\'s team of interestingly constructed bots, but the VS get in each other\'s way more often then not.
Clickbeetle vs Craaig and Joeblo
Very fun match to watch, especially the awesome havok launch in round 2. Unfortunately for JoeBlo, the barrel-rolling popup he has doesn\'t quite work out as well as he\'d hoped. It does, however, provide for some interesting moments, like the popup flying and smashing the top of one of Click\'s HS.
Reier and Naryar vs. Greenbot and Natef
Because of the size of Nary\'s FBS\'s chassis, both of the dual popups do after Reier\'s G-4ce first thing, usually eliminating him early. This leaves the two popups up against the spinning mass of doom and maces. You might think the popups stand no chance... but because Nary\'s weapons are on flails, the popups aren\'t exactly knocked away. Could the "ghey" flails actually be Nary\'s downfall? The arena claws also play a devious part in this round too.Greenbot and Natef win 2-1 (woah!)
RedlineM203 vs. 40757
This was one round where the low grates played part in the match, mostly because of the Dual Popups small wheels and low wedge. However, these pile ups in the flaming grates are quite fun to watch :D. Watch out for the amazing turn of events at the end of round two... it sure surprised me! S.T.C. vs. Sage
My pair of FS bots are pushy, powerful, and damaging. But not if they can\'t get under the opponent. For some reason, GReeenN, the bot without a wedge, gets under the bots with a wedge. Also, S.T.C.\'s HS, because it has the irons attached directly to the tribar, really causes trouble for War & Peace. And the thing about the holes in the walls, if one bot falls, the other usually follows.
TiLT vs. R1885
The new guy TiLT has some pretty decent popups, and in a straight on fight, they could do some damage. However, the VS team\'s superior turning gives them the edge in the battle. A few really cool moments, especially the 2nd round OOTA. Very nice.
Wham vs. H@zm47 Another dual popup team, again against a team with an HS. Not much to say besides there\'s an interesting havok in round 2.

Pulse 2 looks cooler by far. Battle axe armor FTW.
So it can 1HKO bots eh? I guess sideways popups are no longer just a novelty design.
With the extra weight: counterweights on the DDT's? OOOO that sounds cool. I've never experimented with counterweights... how would I go about that for this bot?

I dont know what you see in that chassis besides the arrow shape. Makes it look like a sloppy bot. Skinny bots always look sloppy.
Use S2 wedges instead of SII wedges.

Dunno about the Nifty for the MW... but they both look OK.
Why did you do the extenders the way you did for the weapon on the MW? Are they not more exposed that way?

nice work! keep them coming guys!
the algorithm for calculating chassis weight is not the issue. RA2 calculates it by adding up the sum of the surface area of each polygon. Creating a php function or class to do so is proving to be frustrating. Is the weight not written inside the .bot file? Probably not cause it sounds like something you guys would have checked, but sometimes the simplest solutions are the most overlooked...

Because of the elongated extenders (40cms), the DDTS already have trouble getting a hard hit off, and adding another razors would make it worse.
