If you destroy the trialbot, the decision will still depend on points. One more thing, If you fall off the platform, you will be automatically eliminated. And if you destroy the trialbot, you automatically go to the finals
I think I might have found a contradiction. Can you clear it up?

Ghosts are very real. They just freeze and turn invisible when you look at them. They are visible when you turn your back on them, they can actually move.
Source: RRRRRT!!! RRRRRT !!!!!!! You know what that is? That's my zinger alarm. Also I built Predator, so I guess the "before I die" thing is a real motivator. I should start using it more often.

Ok, so I made a new copy of RA2 DSL and deleted the Darkrat CFZ's. Hopefully that will fix the problem. GK (or anyone), could you try importing this robot into a clean copy of RA2 DSL? If it works, I've found the problem: https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/Steel.zip

You mean intentionally immobilize yourself to limit your opponents chances of getting lots of points in the KoTH? If so, its a very strategic, but a rather risky move imo.
The problem is that the scoring system is way off-balance. You can only get a maximum of 600 points in KOTH, whereas you can earn tens of thousands in the Clawtop challenge. What would your priority be?

hmm, good question define dragging wedge plz.
It doesn't have to be a dragging wedge per se, anything with a really really low ground clearance would have the effect.

I don't know if I've ever shared my views on entertainment with anyone, but I believe that in recent years, television for grown-ups has taken a slight decline, and television for children has taken a HUGE decline. Case in point; "Dude What Would Happen?" It's been described as "Mythbusters for kids," which would be true if it were remotely about science. What if one robot gets immobilized in KOTH? Does the other robot get some extra points? Because hypothetically, I could build a dragging wedge that beaches itself on the ramp since my opponent can no longer score points after Cease is called. That way, if I'm not confident I can win at KOTH, I can at least limit my opponent's point adavantage.
PS, I'm sorry if I'm being difficult, I just want to make sure I know exactly which Robotoica Replica what kind of bot to build.

What do you get if you push the pushbot or your partner off in the second challenge?
Also I'm a little worried that the format still rewards destructive robots too much. The maximum you can get from King of The Hill is 1800 points, but you can earn exponentially more in the second challenge. Even with the weapon restrictions, a well-built DSL bots can score really high, to the point where the King of The Hill challenge is negligible.
Perhaps you could take the King of the Hill score and multiply it by 400? That way, a bot could score up to 24,000 points; an effective balancing measure against Robot Arena 2's selective scoring system.

This seems like a really good idea.
I'd suggest you put more restrictions on weapons, as the current rules permit people to enter a super-destructive spinner or something that wins all three events via KO.

Word of advice, do NOT mess around with the stock AI, download Starcore first, it's much more forgiving, and easier to keep things organized.

I'm sorry too, my last comment went too far.
It's perfectly fine to postpone the tournament or film out of order if you're having problems; don't worry about us getting impatient, we don't matter. If anyone does get particularly pushy, just say "Get off my back you guys"

Good thing I entered a robot without any chance of winning, now that I know the torunament's fixed.
Zog, as a regular video maker myself, I can tell when a robot is being human controlled; not only because of the green numbers, but because you were using the Static cam as opposed to the Orbit (because it goes all wonky if a human is present). Now, it's perfectly fine to do that if all the robots are your own, but when you're hosting a tournament, it's nothing short of cheating.

Do you know why it doesn't work?
Oh, and tell me which Dark Pack and I'll look into it.
V2.0, I think. Could you send me your copy of the clean Multiextender folder and txt files?
