If I remember well, a part of M5i (Jamie's company) and ILM (the sfx company that created Star Wars, and for which Grant was working for) were in on of the spinoffs of the programme.
Oh, and Junkyard Wars kinda sucked. The hosts made me sick. Even more than that guy from Robotica (ohgodohgod). yeah, it could be boring. but the laundry launchers episode was preety interesting.
