Yep. A 22.5-degree baseplate anchor + 20x40 bar should weigh less and be stronger than your current setup. With the free weight, protect those flipper segments that hold your stabilizers with weapons or panels.

2 RADs can chew up HW chassis? o_O
I sense a hybrid revival right now. Kewl.

OmniSwitch would work on that if you just want it to act as a SnS.

It's not that bad. It's like saying putting aluminum armor on a bot is terribly inefficient since you can have roughly the same strength for a whole lot less weight or a whole lot more strength for just a bit more weight. Plastic 5's efficient, and Tite 3's just above average, but Tite 3 still makes a good choice since weight spent from Plastic 5 to Tite 3 is worth the HP gained.

I don't quite get it. Those are just HP/weight ratios. Tite 3 still has more HP than Plastic 5, even if it's a bit less efficient.

With RADs, I don't think so. I don't think they bounce in birds as well.

It doesn't work on metal hinges. Try it out yourself.

I feel your pain >.<
Looks freakishly awesome, though. :D

GRAAH I WAS ABOUT TO BUILD SOMETHING LIKE THAT (but with birds)
Is it powerful? 40kg seems like too much for a RAD to handle.

Lovin' the VS. <3
And I'm not quite sure about your weapon choice on the HS, but flanky HSes are awsum. :D

2 saws seems quite risky for a design with an unprotected chassis. Personally, I'd turn that into a HS to maximize the strength of a Perm, but it's up to you. :D

How about trying irons? Or are they too long for that setup?

Bar HS looks awesum :D
As for the drill, that's pretty much the best you can get. The original LP had 2 pinks and DSA.

Archetype was supposed to be a HS/juggler hybrid but its reach is too high. What wedges are those?

Must have 4 z-tek drive
No, it doesn't. It still depends on how you want a VS to concentrate on. 2WD is fine if you just want it to hit very hard. 4WD if you want that gut-ripping power.

The laziest way to build one is by giving the largest chassis possible Steel 10, then put MEs all around and do Hammer4 chains everywhere. If that's not enough, fill the rest of the chassis space with 60kg ballasts. :P
