OK, I just found out something exciting. Driving with my bot iNCineration has always been a pain. Despite it's 4WD drive it's extremely slow.

Now during one match all of a sudden the problem was gone. I guess some blocking part or so fell off, either way it "restored" to normal driving.

How can I fix this in the botlab? Perhaps I can send someone the .bot and he/she can look at it?

Sure, our tactic is to always carry one "emergency weapon" (like Wunderwaffe, Thundergun, Ray Gun) and one "points weapon", a cheap weapon that can be bought off the wall to make points.

Oh my mate and I have found a little route that you can walk and walk over that is GREAT.

And because you have a "shooting moment" (a moment of peace while looking at a long hall so you can shoot all your zombies, we call it a rapetrain) that is in the freezing water the zombies die super-fast. Also the ak-74u is on the route so you can constantly buy ammo.

On the two "legs" of the bot you have a seemingly useless extender. What does it do?

Beautiful illustration(--- are the weapons and I is the iron spike):

You sure do merit that title.

Then gogo :)

Oh and I have a PM to send you ;)

Ugh, who started using "list" as variable name?

Please don't do that in Python, "list" is the name of the built-in type list. If you overwrite that name you can't turn other things in lists anymore (for example, "list((5, 3, 2))").

I disagree. This might work for your specific system, but not in general. Let me improve that:

1) Put your control panel in "Classic Mode/View" (open control panel, most likely a button the left side).

2) Find out how much physical ram your computer has. This can be found under Control Panel > System:

3) Then, still under Control Panel > System go to Performance and then Virtual Memory. Make it "custom" and set the minimum and maximum to twice your physical ram.

4) Restart the computer

5) Create a file named "Minecraft.bat" (if you are using notepad make sure to select all extensions while saving) with these contents on your desktop:

Code: [Select]
java -Xmx1024M -Xms512M -jar minecraft.exe
Please note that in "-Xmx1024M -Xms512M" you can tune the 1024M and 512M according to how much memory you have.

Did you buy Minecraft and downloaded it from the official Minecraft website?

Quite nice. =] Does that work in the BBEANS Arena? (It has a perfectly flat floor, so there won't be any minute bouncing.)

Well I've tried, but they just bounce into eachother mostly, I can't get under Neglected, and neither can he get under me. Flanking is the only way lift there. Does that mean my bot also has "the correct wedges", as said by Somebody?

Where can I download this arena and how should I install it for use?

EDIT: I've tried the samurai blades a while now and I must say they should be investigated more for defense. They haven't come off once yet.

Lambs to the slaughter:

The wedges are so good that the bot "Epic" (which I think has the best wedges of starcore v3) gets lifted in full-speed even when I move my bot only a little.

EDIT:

Revenge!

These ears are awesome. They hold up everything!

EDIT: Plus they look cool :)

@NFX: Do you consider this bot different enough from Halestorm to declare it a "different bot"?

Behold! iNCineration 4!

Featuring:
EXTREMELY little amount of AGOD on the 2 snapper II's that help the wedges (the AGOD is perfectly symmetrical left/right)
Weapons: 10 razors on two DDT's
Wedges: Bye bye Neglected Waterbug and Epic!
Defense: 5 ramplates and hollow chassis
Drivetrain: 4WD and drives straight forward, backwards is horrible
Power: 3 Big Volt's
Special feature: Swords preventing bots going over mine (sort of)
