Is this an improvement support wise? Just let me know if I have to do otherwise.

Built a successor to Shrapnel, Shrapnel II. Shrapnel II uses the same type of weapon but this time is in the vertical position. Shrapnel II's design comes from the real life middleweight Anklebiter (Season 5.0). Shrapnel II's strengths are it's destructive weaponry and it has decent armor. The weaknesses are however it has issues with getting knocked off balance and the wheels are exposed.

I redesigned the chassis for Buzzcut so this version may make it IRL. Also makes Buzzcut more stable than the previous versions so that's an another upside to this.

Down to the final four robots. The fourth robot came from the Wildcard match between Steel Cyclone and Thunder Skull
The matches are: Crash vs Scorpio and Steampunk vs Steel Cyclone. 405

Well here is probably my deadliest lightweight robot to date. This is Buzzcut. Buzzcut is a two-wheel horizontal disc spinner designed to rip apart anyone who is unfortunate to get in the way. The strengths of Buzzcut are it's deadly spinning disc weapon, it is easy to control, and it is invertable. Buzzcut's weakness however is the fact it has relatively thin armor (1mm Steel).
PS: Any ideas to improve any of my previous robots while still keeping them IRL would be greatly appreciated. I haven't played RA2 for a while because I've been playing TF2 and Minecraft for the past two months so I'm a little rusty when it comes to bot building. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now what was that about more razors? ![]() This was the Buzzcut I was going to upload until I decided to tweak the design some. This version had even weaker armor with 1mm plastic. 406

Unfortunately it appears I will not be able to fix the IRL issue with Shrapnel. Apparently when the Perm motors were built it was overlooked to put a attachment bracket on the top of those motors.

DSL TC Showcases / Re: Scrapyard24c's DSL Garage« on: April 09, 2013, 02:44:31 PM »It's unrealistic because the bar passes through the perm belt. Sorry, but I had to say it. I know. That's the Perm's fatal flaw unfortunately. If I could only flip the motor upside-down it would work. 408

I went and redid Shrapnel's paint job. Reason is the more I looked at the previous paint scheme, the more crappy it looked so I decided to redo it.

Ugh, woke up and can't go back to sleep, so I may as well showcase another of my creations. This one I actually have had for a while, just never got around to it. The name of this robot is Shrapnel. Shrapnel is a middleweight bar spinner that I built one day and fought with, but it simply faded into the background as I built Death Warrant shortly after. The idea for Shrapnel is that is a cross between Supernova and Last Rites. Shrapnel's strengths are it's deadly spinning blade, it has a decent top speed and good maneuverability, and it is invertable. The weaknesses of it are that the beater bars can break off at times and the fact Shrapnel is not a fan of snow plows as those can knock it off balance.
![]() The scratches and sponsor decals were not there originally, I decided to add them on to make Shrapnel look like a battle worn veteran since I had forgotten about this robot. ![]() ![]() ![]() Had to be careful in this fight as I'm pretty sure the rest of you know what can happen if TBR loses one of the arms. 410

Was playing around with Death Warrant here and I got matched up against Wiide Load in the second round. I honestly thought Death Warrant was going to lose out here when this happened.
![]() I fired the axe and it lopped off one half of Wiide Load's drum. That was the last thing I expected to happen in this fight. I later followed up by launching Wiide Load out of the arena but I failed to get a screenshot of the moment unfortunately. 411

Avast here is another addition to the garage, Captain Ironblood. This pirate based robot was a spur of the moment idea that eventually led to this scourge of the arena. Ironblood's main weapons are the two swords mounted on each side of the spiked wedge on which opponents run up onto and get stuck, allowing the captain to take them where ever he pleases, weather that be another robot, the arena hazards, or ram them straight into the nearest wall. Captain Ironblood's strengths are it's very good armor (5mm Steel), well protected front and sides, strong pushing power, and it's maneuverability is great. The weaknesses of the captain are the unprotected back and the fact it cannot self right.

Well anyway, I decided to add a new lightweight to the garage and here it is, Parasyte. Parasyte is my first attempt at a lightweight drum spinner and by comparison is the smallest robot I've built. It's strengths are it's good armor, deadly weaponry, and it's maneuverability. Weaknesses are it cannot self right, exposed weapon motor, and it has gotten stuck on it's side before.
![]() Parasyte's slogan - "Sure I donate blood, it's just never my own." ![]() ![]() ![]() 413

Well the idea to build Reckless Intent came from the Battlebots Super Heavyweight Maximus. After watching this fight, I had to come up with my own version.

Just thought I'd mention those spikes on the back of Reckless Intent aren't there just for show as Critical Emergency got the worst of it in this rumble, courtesy of Reckless Intent.

Well I guess I had a case of builder's block for the past few months, but ideas for new robots have now started flowing through my mind once again. Here is the first of this spawn, Reckless Intent.
Reckless Intent is a 4WD rammer with a lifting plow at the front and a row of iron spikes at the back. The strengths for Reckless Intent are it is extremely fast, highly maneuverable, has good armor (5mm Titanium), and has great pushing power. It's weaknesses are it can be difficult to control at times, it has exposed wheels, and when flipped it's plow is useless. ![]() Reckless Intent's motto - "Safety first? Screw that!" ![]() ![]() ![]() 416

This is probably the best song to be playing whenever you're in a demolition derby in Flat Out 1. The title is kind of fitting if you think about it.

Why must people like Noodle exist? First he starts with these immature jokes, then he goes off GTM and into Minecraft and hacks HA's first account to ruin Conraaa's server, then this spamfest, and now he's wrecked the bot exchange. All I can say is goodbye, and good riddance.
