Rameses II.  Progress on this was slow and steady, like the robot.

Big article in Servo this month about BattleBots. Sweet Revenge is the Carrollton robot as I thought it was.

Here's a picture that Charles drew of all the robots he saw at BB.  Truly, he's the DaVinci of our time

I don't know how much I can say about this, but I do understand that the British people are getting shafted so I'll just say this.

There are some sites I know of that are pretty reliable about uploading videos of TV shows. Finding them via Google is easier than you think.  Legit ones don't make you download anything, so ignore the ones that tell you you need a special plugin or video player.

If you have the ability to watch it on TV or on a legitimate site, please do so.  We want this to make as much money as possible.

My brother has some D&D figures that never got painted.  I don't play but I love to paint, so I did them for him to make his games more interesting.  These are hand painted with water-based acrylics and varnished with Mod Podge.  These are all a tad darker than they appear, the camera flash reflected off of the gloss

My brother tells me that this one is called an Umber Hulk:

It looks like MIT's not going after all; I don't know how it never came up in our conversations, but apparently Charles had no plans ever to go.  The airport's quite far from the actual event, so I'll see if I can get comfortable enough with highway driving over the course of the month, and that'll determine if I go.

Awesome, that's confirmed screentime for Radioactive and the walkerbot, though it certainl doesn't look like it took full advantage of its extra weight.  Also, are you sure that CC is taking part in battlebots this time?  I got the impression from his FB post that he just made that yesteday.

Here's the photo I was talking about... I concede that it's definitely not Bigger Brother but it looked like something cool.
.  And speaking of the Brother, yay for no snot-nosed bratty children on the show!  It was a legitimate fear, given the demographic of ABC.  (And of course it goes without saying, the kids on Bigger Brother are exempt from being called snot-nosed children because they drive the robot and they're probably in their 20's or something by now).

I could be mistaken, but there was, for half a second, what appeared to be, a brown robot with a strange angular shape, getting shoved against the barrier.  I'll get a screenshot when I get home.

There was a glimpse of Bigger Brother in the preview, which I'm very happy about.  Hopefully next we'll get to see Radioactive.

I love how the focus is on the robots.  I'm hoping we can get at least one robot fight between each set of commercials.

From watching the previews, here all the bots I could see that have flamethrowers...

Witch Doctor
Stinger The Killer Bee
Nightmare or Warrior SKF
CHOMP
Overhaul or Donald Hudson

It's like they had a box of them in the pits with a sign that said "please take one."

Overhaul is more like Complete Control than your traditional "crusher," I don't personally count it.

Hey so in the first few frames of that teaser I posted it looks like Warrior SKF in the bottom left. Figured that would be the Whyachi bot.
First Beta now Warrior.  I'm psyched, this is turning into some real wish fulfillment
