It looks great regardless of where it was posted. Placing the “Chaos 2” logo on a curved piece is impressive in itself.

I think I may have found a bug. The newest version worked fine the first time I opened it however on the second time I now can’t select any buttons from the main menu.
Just tried opening it a few times on my Windows laptop. Things seemed to work fine.
Maybe the next step is to put out a new build. It is possible that something might have been corrupted during the build process.
I'll try to get a new build out on Thursday.
So I think I’ve figured out what could be the issue as I’ve noticed my anti virus is deleting a certain file not long after I extract the folder. (Doesn’t tell me it’s done it either which is irritating). Bizarre that I’m still able to fully play the game once before it menu locks though.

Cheers for the kind comments lads! Dude, these look effing sick!!! How long does it take you to make these?
None of them were built in one go, always whenever I get a spare 20 minutes or so (which is rare). Probably about an hour or so per bot. There's no way the Tento shell is hollow right?
The bottom ring is hollowed out but the top dome is solid. I could make it completely hollow but it would take more time than it’s worth and you end up with jagged edges and merging textures. (See Gigabyte lol) You have some crazy talent my guy and you're wasting it on obscure battlebots games lol. Damn, that cut deep lol.

Great minds think alike!
Awesome job here. Eruption is phenomenal and special shout out for that Hypno-Disc spiral, that must have been a pain.

Yeah the 20th August bleeding edge version. I have to delete the file and re-extract every time I use it otherwise the menu buttons get a case of stage fright. It doesn’t look like Kix is having this problem so at least it’s not a universal problem.
What's your resolution out of interest? Far as I'm aware there wasn't any difference in the menu UI between these builds, did you have this issue on the Itch.io build also?
Using full screen - 1680x1050 resolution. Never had the issue on any previous versions of the game. The buttons are visible but don’t do anything (I have to alt tab to close the game, can’t access settings, workshop or battle mode etc).

Very weird. One of the bleeding edge builds?

Red Devil - It doesn't fully articulate like the real thing but it can drive (just) and the claws move which is good enough for me. I've been trying to find anything that's irritating when building within the bot builder to report back on here and for the most part I'm struggling to find much that isn't already mentioned or currently planned to be implemented later down the line. The only minor issues I've come across is that if you snap a new component onto an existing one on a subtle incline then the component will lay flat, not inclined. (Eg: I couldn't get the track pieces to sit at the same angle as the component they're snapped onto as they either lay flat or at too sharp an angle). And the rotation tool could maybe do with a few more angle points. Also thank you to everybody that commented on my last post.

Oh my word. This is incredible.
Would you mind if we put this up on Twitter and Reddit?
Haha thank you, really liking the game so far. The bot builder is surprisingly intricate but still fun to work with. I was worried using so many individual pieces on a bot would break the game but it runs perfectly. Not at all man, post away!

Had an absolute blast this evening building a Bite Force rep! I have to say, RR2's bot builder is leaps and bounds ahead of RA2 soooo much easier to work with!

Number 7 is one of the most glorious builds I’ve seen in RA2, love the clever use of components!

Cheers everyone for the kind words! :) It does slightly disappoint me that the slot decals on the chassis can't spin, but that's stretching it I guess.
Be slightly disappoint no more! That's not the chassis you're looking at, it's a makeshift drum made of skinned armour panels. Only the golden parts don't spin.
