And what side did you join? Heavy or Pyro?

Oh, ah... I haven't played it yet, but... I got nothin'.

I joined the CRY SOM MOAR BABYZ side.

So what is the list of events that are happening?
Well, despite the appearance of the better version, the tournament will be in SR, so the only 3 in that. Make 3 zooks, one for each event.
Should we alternate between the two versions of the game inbetween tournaments (A la BBEANS1,3
and 5 were stock, then 2,4 and 6 were DSL? I feek the older events are superior.

Bumping this just to mention that if you want to use the old events, you don't need to get the old Zook Kit working; you can simply copy the Contest Pack data from both the ContestPacks folder and the Contests folder to the BAMZOOKi SR version of the Zook Kit. I was having problems getting the old Zook Kit to run, however I found that the contests work fine on the SR version (even if the textures look a little off as they automatically get replaced with the SR textures) so there isn't any need to go to the old version, really.

Also, going back and forth between versions may be a hassle for some people, and considering that people have already had a fairly large amount of problems getting the Zook Kit to run in the first place, we should just use the SR version with the SR and original contests.

Also, we are defiantly still going ahead with the tourney. If you still want to make a team of Zooks for it, I think you still can (may have to check with Yugitom and see if he's still accepting entries)

Waiting for the uk android release, then I might dabble. I plan on team valor, though, because red=awesome and moltres=instant badass
You know you can just grab the .apk online and install it anyway? Hasn't had an official release in Netherlands either but we're already actively playing it here.

You really shouldn't be doing that.

Not because "ur not gettin it properly" or anything, but Pokemon GO has been having loads of server issues as a direct result of people outside of the countries the game was released in trying to play the game. Instead of about 4 countries or so, there was practically half the planet trying to log into the servers, and it's causing a lot of issues.

Seeing as I'm from Newcastle, my hopes are with TR2.

It's got a pretty bloody good flipper too.

I'm waiting on a UK release because if we all make multiple iTunes accounts, we'll screw over the servers even more than we already have done.

5 minute 'Meet the House Robots' segment
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p040cvp9/robot-wars-meet-the-house-robots
(Probably UK only)

Nuts being referred to as 'whatever that is' is the best <3

I love that line too.

Also, it's definitely UK only. RoboBowler's been trying to watch it while he's on holiday and he can't. He was on the GTM Discord asking if anyone had re-uploaded it to YouTube yet.

A drill seems like an odd choice of weapon for an Antweight, but other than that it seems alright. (hard to go wrong with antweights anyway)

The middleweight one is, as you say, underweight. Remember to be within 10kg under the weight limit, in this case in between 389.0kg and 399.0kg. Looks a bit top heavy, too, although that's probably not a big issue. I'd say that it looks pretty good for an IRL bot, but that massive skirt thing at the front of the bot is kinda pushing your bot out of IRL territory. If you're going for an IRL design, you might want to get rid of that skirt wedge. If you're not trying to make a IRL bot, then you will probably need to try and find a way to get some damaging weaponry on your bot; seems a little too basic for a DSL-S bot.

Its fine with what its got infact its dam effective and long lasting!
What he means by stacking is literally stack the batteries. There's a glitch essentially allowing you to put the batteries (and other components, if you so desire) inside of each other to create more room in your bot for other components. Ideally, you'd want to have a smaller chassis if you were stacking. Although what you have seems fine to me.

I voted alright.

So, uh, ownership of the official RA3 wiki is being offered to me by a Curse Wiki admin because I'm literally the only person other then him to do anything to it. Other then the guy who defaced the main page.

*was actually someone from the forums

still maintaining that it wasn't me

Oh, and I voted "It's not good" because it's not worth the price, yet there's still fun to be had. And there has been fixes to it.

my steam name is gooses -- look for the one that has "canadian goose" as "also known as"
Is it possible if you could link your Steam profile so you're easier to add? I'm struggling to find you as the results are literally in the thousands when I search for 'gooses'

Huh, seems like a low turnout, considering that the Stock tournament got 16 people...

I know next to nothing about good designs, so, uhh... Good luck to everyone who entered! And the byebot, best of luck (R.I.P.) to it.
Tournaments in general seem to be getting lower turnout. Probably has something to do with a lack of intrest/IRL stuff going. Everyone bailing on their tournaments probably didn't help matters either.

Yeah, I'm still waiting on Back To The Roots... I've become more interested in GMod Robot battling though; I'll probably be entering the 'Robo'Games tournament when that starts.

nah man, lunation is a hell of a player.  You must be good if you were matched with him.

if you ever need a confidence booster you can 1v1 me  :v

I think it was actually because of the ranking reset for Season 3. We both quickly climbed to Challenger, I guess. My usual rank is Rising Star. My exact division varies depending on the mode.

The Obwalden Overlord VS Warhead match was literally Dark Souls.

...or that. There was a humanoid robot, there was sadness, so it fits
