I will agree it is slow however as it proved in the tourney with my other version you don't need a ton of speed to win atleast against AI and I will agree it is underpowered however when I make the changes I noted earlier that should be fixed. Also 7 weapon motors sounded fun and does do well at controlling other bots.

Ok so here is a slight variation on my old design for a coal miner esque replacement. I am thinking I wll get rid of the saws on the front that should get me about 100g to work with. That will allow me more batteries and better armor as currently I have the armor downgraded to see what I could make for a design from a damage stand point. this bot outwedges most bots head on from AI it is a bit slow turning and I have a ton of wasted space as the chassis used was from my 5x from rival rumbles. It still cant self right but I do have the wheels far enough back that they will traction if tipped toward the rear and can drive in the hopes of tipping back onto wheels. The spinner system works just like coal miner except the drums also gut rip better and since they "climb" onto my bot they lose the ability to drive and get away.

Yeah i could not get reliable selfrighting with this design and prayed itd work i could of self righted if i was allowed to arc edit. Also on nars question id venture to guess those were heavy spikes not pole spikes they have normals but are durable and high damage. Last but not least id like to see if my design could handle carbon dragon i believe my design is one of the few that can damage it directly

Honestly surprised I won thought for sure Night Man would outwedge me which he did but my bot seemed to get setup to the side enough to slide under multiple bots with rack based systems. Thank you for hosting this tournament thrack hope for more these were fun. PS who said a 5x hybrid wouldn't work lol.

I also am not a huge fan of the small skirt wedge on front seems not really IRLish to me

I have not had power issues in testing. Also I have tried other ideas for keeping bots from trying to fall into the middle and I think I have a simple yet effective idea. I will post up later. Last but not least the plow actually does help as it tends to throw bots over the top without it I think my back 2 FS are angled too much and allow them to ramp up. Lastly the wedge setup is surprisingly effective it is outwedging all the bots Ive put it up against and the ones it don't they do that weird spring away thing and kind of launches other bot away and wins the second wedge war. Lastly the drive are npc fasts and with this setup do surprisingly well at out powering other bots. For example Industrial coal miner gets shoved around with ease. My next design I am going to try getting rid of the plow and making a few changes to better do damage. I am also not a huge fan of the tornado spikes for damage but they are sturdy and don't seem to break off like other spikes I tried.

Yeah like i said need to find better way for drums but it really helps keep bot stuck on top. Also extender work overall i thought i did well everything fits close together. My wedges did well without drums to get bots up but they seemed to slide down into the gap and not take much damage where drums keep them ontop of everything my other problem was before i put the catch on top bots would shoot off top. They still occasionally do but when they do now it throws them. Lastly even against a bot like industrial coal miner that moves fast bot is suprisingly stable it doesnt really get that weird bounce away like you occasionally see with the shorter length bots

If you cant get another burst in there Id probably suggest making the mouth open is more important then the head lifting

Here is a silly MW I made it works pretty well even though frenzy hammers seem to upset the game spinning this fast. It hits extremely hard and it does spikeball however when human controlled you slow motor down briefly and it lands on spike and rolls over smoothly to get back into battle and usually by the time the opponent gets back from being shot across the arena its back up to full speed. I did have to battery stack to get 2 ants in it it last about 1:40 before its basically dead. I even managed to stuff steel armour 1 on it.
