RoboMan: You were gone .........? now the rep system makes no sense any more
Like it ever did ......? Bottom line: at the end of the day, it's just a number. The only number that matters at the end of the day is one with seven digits .....

Yo dad is gonna kick your butt if you don't quit messin up his lug wrenches and 4-ways.
Daddy's 900 miles away, and I got these at a junk store for $.50 each ..... If you guys are interested, I can post a link to my PhotoBucket page with (almost) everything I've built so far. There's a few things I haven't taken pictures or uploaded yet, but those will be up soon.

NFX: I actually did have a big scorpion I bult (about a foot long, with needlenose pliers for the pincers), but it got sold last year at the Tucson Gem Show, along with some of my other stuff. I'll see if I can find a picture of it for you, though. Serge: I picked up a 90-amp 110v MIG welder from Harbor Freight, taught myself how to weld. It's really easy with the wirefeed MIG - just point and shoot. With some practice, you can be welding in about half an hour. Pwnator: You're just not looking hard enough. The snake was made from a twisted dog leash, with a working rattle on his tail. The minibike is made from tire irons and 1/4" plate, running a 47cc pocketbike engine with 4" goped wheels. That spider? That's a 2" trailer hitch ball for the body, and bicycle axles for the legs. The Terminator hand is 6" bolts cut to fit. The rose is made from tablespoons, the stem is the top bar from a hanging file rack, and the leaves are the handles from the spoons. (It also weighs about a pound and a half .... and I was bright enough to give this to my girlfriend???? ) The "brass knuckles" are actually four box-ends I cut from various wrenches and welded together to make a front fender for one of my bikes. Another good reason why you can't see most of the welds - paint covers a multitude of sins .... Kill343gs and naryar: Thanks! I really enjoy doing it. I used to draw a lot, but somehow pen and ink wasn't just ... physical enough.

You don't really need to post a new thread to say you're leaving. When I got into it with Rolo, I decided to take a hike, and was practically begged to come back by Starcore, Madiaba, Acams, Goose, and several others. This last time, when I left for two years, I didn't even bother posting a "goodbye" thread ... just up and split.

in workshop, my bot keep moving I can't edit the component. How can I totally stop all movement?
Drop a refridgerator on it. If that doesn't stop it from moving, nothing will.

Anyone on here play any of the Ultimate Ride series: original, deluxe version, or the Disney park version? I have all three, and have made some pretty awesome rollercoasters, if I do say so myself. Of course, most of them would never be able to be built in the "real world" ... not with some of the G-forces the turns pull, or acceleration/deceleration G-forces, but damn, they ARE fun to put on first-person and watch the track unreel backwards at insane speeds ......

I must be old school or something .... most of the time when I think of "video game music", I think of ARCADE game music, like Golden Axe, Space Invaders, DigDug, PacMan, and so on. (I do have a lot of the wav and mp3's of that music, btw ...) I remember playing a pinball machine called Party Animal that featured a lot of great old rock songs, as well. True, there were some days I would hop on the old Super Nintendo and play Super Mario Bros., Top Gear, Rock 'n Roll Racing (that one had some great music - ya gotta love a game that fires up playing "Bad to the Bone"!)

Some very nice submissions here in this thread - great work, all! However, I'd like to point out that all artwork is not simply putting pen or pencil or brush to paper, or using photo imaging software to create imaginative scenes ...... A few of my own creations: Hey, Urjak ..... Forgot to mention - all of the above are made from recycled metal.

Someone recut "Mary Poppins" into a horror movie trailer ..... go look it up on YouTube - "Scary Mary"
There was also the classic scene from "The Sorceror's Apprentice" (the original one) of the mops mindlessly marching along with their buckets of water, unstoppable in their tasks .... Still freaks my g/f out ...

Two rules:
Rule #1 : Don't sweat the little stuff.
Rule #2 : It's ALL little stuff.
If you go onto ANY forum, there's bound to be "good" people and "bad" people. Not everyone is Mr. and Mrs. Nicey-Nice. Occasionally there are a few assholes hanging around (like me, and yes, I'll admit it), and you simply have to deal with it, that's all. Dude, bottom line: IT'S JUST A GAME. As joe said, whether you go or stay is up to you. Tell you what, though, you'll be missing out on a lot of cool stuff if you decide to split ....

Barack Obama's presidential address.
I win.
Okay, just kidding. I got y'all beat, anyway: "From Dusk Till Dawn." Ain't nothin' like sexy vampire strippers in a Mexican nightclub. (Semla Hayek is a hottie!)
"Maximum Overdrive" was great, and stayed pretty true to the original Stephen King story, "Trucks." I liked the psychotic soda machine. :)
"House of Wax" was okay, not great, but seeing Paris Hilton in a negligee was worth it. :P
However, no one has mentioned the ULTIMATE horror movie: The Rocky Horror Picture Show !!!!!

I'll have to search on my other computer for it. I tended to reskin things a lot, didn't like the way the originals looked. I probably have a gig of just different graphics and stuff for the game. Did a lot of skins for Madiaba's arenas, plus the GUMBA floor and a score of others.

Nice work on the component reskins. Any chance I can get a copy of them?
Somewhere I still have a reskin I made for the black battery - it's now a Sears DieHard. Working on an InterState battery skin, too.
