I don't enter many of these. Does "Realistic Rule - IRL Realism" imply the innards have to be realistic as well?

Good to know things are getting at least a bit better on yours and DS7's end despite the stuff you two have been through lately.
Also, good to see a solid list of teams. A bit disappointed that Mortis and Black Hole are no longer listed though. In regards to the new/improved robots and the reskinned arena, they look great. Not much more to say on that front. Is Mangler a new house robot? 45

Not sure if this is important, but I thought I'd might as well ask. When Wham was working on his pack, he included a bunch of miscellaneous parts (sirens, eyes, etc.) that would take up the "Extras" components section, not too dissimilar to how the official RW games handle them. Will this be continued in the official mod?

In fact, I'd probably suggest not working on the mod while you're off so you can recover better. We'd rather have a slower release but you in better health, rather than a rush job and you being in terrible health. 47

S3's logo shouldn't be too much a problem since it uses a Stencil font. Finding good pictures of the wheelhubs maybe a bit tricky though. In regards to Mortis, isn't it possible to AI the lifting arm to only work as its srimech?
Minor Tom looks great. Just curious if its lifting arm will work like it does IRL. 48
Modifications / Re: Robot Wars RA2 - OFFICIAL MOD« on: September 21, 2014, 10:07:28 AM »A suggestion is when you put something forward for consideration. Eg. "Maybe Cassius could be a good pick because of blah blah blah". A request is when you tell someone to do something. Eg. "I request that you make Cassius"and how many times have we said that we are not taking requests?By the way, I'm permitting suggestions for a bit, are there any robots you lot think I am missing out that truly deserve to be in the game from being a significant part of Robot Wars History? Also, I've taken most of the suggestions people have submitted here, and made a strawpoll to see what suggestions are the most popular. However, it's a question of what robots truly deserve to be in, not your personal favourites. I didn't include some suggestions because they either might be getting updated anyway (Terrorhurtz, Chaos 2), are already on the master list (Thor, Grim Reaper), or can't be put in due to contract reasons (Killerhurtz, Envy). http://strawpoll.me/2616333 As this isn't an offical poll from either HB or daleksec, I don't expect any results from it to reflect on what they do. I just made it to see what suggestions the community liked the most overall. 49

Well since you asked: Pulverizer - The Second Dutch Series champion. Sure, it may not be as destructive as the likes of S3 and 259, but beating out a bunch of other robots to become champion of their home nation is worth taking note of. Black Hole/Luzifer - Either one is fine. Black Hole, German Series champion, was an effective robot, even by UK and US standards at that point in time. It really showed what Germany was capable of in terms of robot combat. Failing that, Luzifer is its successor, and it's a shame I haven't seen many clips of it. Philipper 2 or Hard - Philipper 2 was runner up in both the second Dutch Championship and the European Championship. Might not be the most effective robot, but deserves noting because of it's achievements in both of those events. Failing that, Hard could be decent Belgian representative Updated S3 and Supernova - They were in DSL since 1.0 I believe, so updated versions of them for both this and DSL 3 would be pretty cool. Not much work to be done on S3 since the body component already exists, but Supernova needs looking at. Both were decent spinners, and Supernova was runner up in the Third World Championship. Mortis - Series 1 and 2 semi-finalist and first War of Independence champion. A robot that was both hyped up and villified by the producers, Mortis has a reputation like none other in Robot Wars history. I believe Wham already made a chassis component that's in the 2013 pack's component folder, so it should just be a matter of working from there Pitbull - Underrated robot from series 3. Probably the most successful robot styled after an animal because it reached the series 3 semi-finals. More of a personal preference, but it did have some success Napalm - Not that effective in terms of weaponry, durability, reliability, or style, but would be fun to see smashed up. Also, it's a series 2 semi-finalist if that counts for anything 50

Sweet-looking Satanics there. Will some of the weapons for these robots be availible in the bot lab?
Also, I remember you were looking into Sewer Snake and Luzifer a while back. Do you still have plans to include those robots, or does the RW contract prevent you from using them? 51

I can't see Storm 2 and Big Nipper being too much of an issue. They were on the show, and Storm 2 does carry the title of Robot Wars World Champion. Also, didn't Kronic and Big Nipper appear in Robot Wars events last year? Best to be safe and check though.

Pretty sweet promo shots. If only we had the sourcecode to recreate those ingame.
I've decided to compile a list of robots that have been made by Wham, HB, and daleksec7 so far. I've sorted them by the series they first appeared in, depending on the incarnation of the robot that's in the pack. Series 1 Roadblock Killertron Series 2 Limpet Mace Series 3 Chaos 2 (it's always been the same in terms of looks) 101 Series 4 Series 5/Extreme X-Terminator (series 5) Thermidor 2 Diotoir Splinter 3 Stegs To Heaven SMIDSY Cerberus Wild Thing Wheely Big Cheese Steel Avenger Crushtacean Razer Bigger Brother Plunderbird 5 Suicidal Tendencies Pussycat Dominator 2 Panic Attack Hypno-Disc Stinger Series 6 Sir Chromalot Behemoth 13 Black Terrorhurtz 259 Tornado Extreme 2 Kan-Opener Series 7 X-Terminator (series 7) Kat 3 Mega Morg Hydra Gravity Iron Awe 2.1 St Agro Storm II Typhoon 2 M2 Ming Dienasty Tsunami Lightning Extreme Warriors 1/2 General Chompsalot Manta Panzer Mk 4 The Revolutionist Rosie the Riveter 2 Tricerabot 3.0 Propeller head Run Away Dutch series 1/2 German series Ansgar's Revenge Live circuit Iron Awe 5 Tanto Eruption Bonk! Beast Meggamouse Cassius 3 Gravity 5.2 Kronic Saint Chreub DTK Alien Destructor Big Nipper Ripper Dystopia Bulldog Breed Noisy Cricket Tilly 3 House robots Matilda Shunt Sgt. Bash Tentative as to what incarnation it is Dantomkia (either version 3 or 4 ATM) Firestorm (definetly version 3 or newer) Tentative about it being in the pack as a whole robot or not Robochicken Tiberius Atomic So that about 80 robots if the last three aren't put in 55

Looks great. Shame the piece of baguette on the back has gone though. Extra component perhaps?
Also, any plans for more old robots? 56

Dystopia looks great, but I'm not really much of a fan of the robot itself. The paint job feels abit tacky.
Really liking Limpet. Nice extra bit of detail with the piece of bread on the back. 59

Nice work on the arena, Daleksec. Will the floor spikes be included once it's done?
I do indeed offer services for designing custom components ect but I do not make replicas for people unless they own the robot themselves.Welp. Time to hunt down Crusader and Pitbull 60

Nice work, HB. Can't wait to see more of Daleksec's work as well. Just curious if Big Nipper works like to real thing.
Also, good to know you had fun during the Northern Tour. I'd like to request the Tiberius series 1 2 3 and 4 I made the original Tiberius with a servo motor with t connected extenders to stop the crusher go 360 degreesDon't post requests unless you're planning on paying for them. |
