The BattleBots Website has been updated, with a new picture inside the Battlebox: I think the hellraisers are back if you look closely. Are those yellow circles on the floor spikes? or sensors? Does anyone know?

I think this would be better if it was called Timebomb, or The Final Countdown, or something to that effect.
The reason I didn't call it something like that, is because it was originally a different idea, before evolving into this. I may change it to one of those, or something similar to that.

This event; hosted by an unknown person, as usual involves robots fighting to the death in a extremely dangerous arena, to win an 'unbelievable prize' which has incredible worth. This robot combat tourney has a twist, making winning no easy feat, with the host adding a special rule- immobilization timers. You are given a bank of time, in which you can get more time by defeating other robots, though if your timer reaches 0, you are disqualified instantly. The robot which makes it through the tournament has a chance to fight the host’s machine, to take the big final prize.
Arena: Containment Cube Timer Rules ( IMPORTANT): 5 minutes starting time Steal opponent's remaining time when KO Time is transferred over between rounds. If robot's time goes to zero, then the robot is disqualified.
The final robot will use the time it has remaining to try and defeat the final boss.
Match plan (for 16, best case scenario): 4 way matches - Eight qualify from this round Four 1v1 matches - Four qualify from this round Two 1v1 matches - Two qualify from this round 1v1 Final - One qualifies to the next round Boss Battle- Winner faces the Boss in order to win the 'prize'
Building Rules - Robots must be under 800kg - Robots should be built for DSL 2.1 - IRL robots - No crawlers or popup - Glitch weapons are prohibited - Cheatbot2 is prohibited Try to AI your robots, but I will if required. Robots may be rejected at my discretion if need be.
Match Rules - No time limit - Classic Havok Restart Rule (once reset, twice disqualified) How to Win: KO Opponent's time runs out Havok disqualification
Final Boss:p.s. Since this is my first tournament, I can only have 16 competitors.

Due to BattleBots returning to the TV, I am hosting a new series of GMOD Robot Combat inspired by Battlebots. This event is hosted by me, RoboBowler.
This series has new rules according to the BattleBots rules.
We are using a custom arena made by me for this event, which is a recreation of the Season 4 Battlebox.

If you don't know how to build a robot in GMOD, a video tutorial series is coming soon on how to build a basic robot with weapons.
If you make a robot, put it in the response.
You can come on the server here: 185.38.148.62:27285
YOU WILL NEED THIS: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=408423647
RULES:>Match Rules: Match length: 3 minutes Rumble Length: 5 minutes Single Elimination Setup
How to win (in a head to head match): 1) If your opponents' BattleBot was incapacitated, you are declared the winner. 2) If opponents' BattleBot broke a rule, you are declared the winner. 3) If both bots are mobile, then it goes to the judges.
If you score the most points, you win.
There is a 30 second pinning rule, anything longer then this and the bots will be separated.

1 heat per day for example.
We could do that, with 8 people per day, 8 heats (that makes 64) but it would a incredible pain to set up. I do want to do that in the future, some day. I also want to know when people want to do this again.
