Ouch. How heavy is that shell?
Not entirely sure, it was an old attempt at an aw shell that ended up being bw sized, I weighed it down on the inside with some steel cable tied to the base. at a guess I'd say maybe 1kg max

you could probably build an antweight for less than £70.
This, you can make a bot on just about any budget if you don't plan on competing with it though as any things can be re-purposed depending on what weight you are building to. Ants or Beetleweights are a good place to start on a low budget though as they are significantly cheaper than other classes and are a nice size to work with starting out.

I got a bit bored of playing support so I've swapped to top and I've been enjoying it thus far. Mainly been playing Irelia, Sion and Maokai but recently I've started playing the donger, I've been finding him really fun top lane and now I've got to grips with him a bit I've started to do pretty well.

I think I may dismantle everything I've got so far and start afresh, I'm dry out of ideas of what to do and where to go next to put it bluntly. Birthday's soon, no specific date as you don't know what kind of pedophiles there are out there. But anyway, for my birthday I will probably get a bit of spending money and maybe try and get a table in my room so I can actually work on stuff in my room and not have to leave things rotting out in the garage as there is no way to put them anywhere. I will have some spare as well so I am going to get some new things. Also, I have studied a bit more in computer science and they have recently taught us about machine code, so hopefully that will come in handy.
Update over chaps
Just fyi you mention your age in the very first post of this. Also, hop on the beetleweight train, it's not much more expensive than a decent antweight and is a nicer size to work with. Or just stick with the ants and go for better construction with your next one. I'm always on skype if you need help with anything bot wise.

I am wondering is this possible to do for robot arena 2 and if it is how can it be done? thanks.
Yes you can, you need to download the xbox one pc drivers from here: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-one-controller-for-windowsThen it's just a case of plugging the controller into your pc with the micro usb able you get with it and remapping the controls of your bot.

Since when was he pent up? Christ, after i curbstomped Carbonate you have been breaking down across the forum!
If you're not going to post anything constructive or at least on topic then just don't post. Back on topic: what are the teeth on nocturne? They look really weird to me.

Decided to do a drum after ash and after a days work in inventor I ended up with this: The pulley is turned into the drum and the teeth are bolt on via slots milled into the drum and holes drilled/tapped into those slots. Side armour will depends on how much weight is left over but it's looking alright for some hdpe outer armour with the frame equating to about 500g without the weapon and 900g with it.

Pretendo-bot, now with components. Ash is with Haz now for some pocketing then I need to make a wedge for it and then it's off to burgess for some bw fun.

Ash's parts are done now and on the way, really happy with how it turned out, the sides are the wrong way around in the pretendobot, just need to flip them around and they'll fit fine.

All of the above. Come say hi :)
Are you bringing rpm to burgess?

So, where are us Brits going?
Will definitely be at Portsmouth, hoping to get to Newport and Guildford too. Maidstone... possibly. (Note this list doesn't include any Robots Live events - I'll be at at least Burgess Hill of theirs)
Portsmouth, Maidstone (20 minutes up the road), maybe Guildford, and Burgess Hill on the RL side of things for bw spinner stuffs.

All the parts have been sent off for a quote on lasercutting now, should be ready for Portsmouth as I'll likely be focusing on beetles at burgess hill this year although I might put MT2 in a few fights to get some combat testing done.

thats what i used on the original slim pickens
so it'll get obliterated as soon as a good spinner touches it. Yeah I really wouldn't.
I don't think people would be putting prototype bots into the arena to fight especially against spinners.

Now christmas is over and I have money that I can spend, the rebuild of MT is next on my list of things to do. Got this design done in sketchup: Now I just need to remake the panels in inventor and get them sent off for laser cutting.

I got a 3ds, new pair of DC's, a couple of shirts and some money which is hopefully going to become the new mt before Burgess Hill.

Motors arrived to Haz today so a crude pretendo-bot happened.

Hmm. The bot's eyes are painted so they are straight, i prefered where they weren't straight (like on the tshirt). It gives it more personality and has that MS paint quick job goodness to it.
'heated' haha.
Snappy is going to be fixed up and have a few major upgrades over Christmas, and I've also bought the parts for my next project, Nanohurtz. Yeah, antweight Terrorhurtz, whatcha gonna do? (mainly not be scared because it's going to not cause any damage) (Image removed from quote.) Current CAD of the HDPE 'box' the components will sit inside (thank you Tweedy), which will be surrounded by slanted polycarb, for authenticity. Probably just speedhacking a 360 servo for the axe for now, so it might not even right due to the lack of torque, but it'll look cool, and that's all that matters. :P
that honestly doesn't look like it's gonna get under anything
That's because you're looking at the internal structure of it, that is without outer armour or a proper wedge.

I know Tweedy is class but there always something Dave can advice you with. He has made a line of AWS Champions don't forget. (Sorry tweedy!)
I can't argue with that lol, dave is worlds better than me in both AW and FW design.
