I've just checked this out and I must say I'm really liking it despite my laptop being trash. Do you any long term goals for this project? For example would you make it mobile or console compatible?

I thought it was an okay E3. Outside of Nintendo's there wasn't many suprise announcements (Thank You Leaks.)
Favourite announcements is seeing Watch Dogs 3, Banjo in Smash Bros and seeing Tales of Arise. 2020 is going to be a great year for games. However it feels like outside of Death Stranding and maybe Star Wars the rest of the year feels underwhelming Nintendo excluded.

I'm a bit late.
I'm three/four on the list. I haven't played Stock or DSL in a long time and only play the RW mod extremely rarely. I've got a job, I'm in education and writing a novel. Don't have as much time anymore to spend a day or two building something. Still like to visit here everyone once in a while mostly cause I miss being on these types of forums all the time.

I just came back after a long time just to say I'm leaving.
I know you are all upset and thinking "why did this guy, this random guy who has only made about 20 posts in the past two years and almost nothing related to RA2. This guy made a post to say I'm leaving?
Want to know why?
Because I can.
Drunk Copypasta
That was like five years ago. I've moved far beyond that. Crazy that is how I'm remembered here. So I guess go back now. Maybe one day I will appear in a new form.

Favourite Games of All Time
1. Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Final Fantasy X 3. Nier Automata 4. Shadow of the Colossus 5. God of War 2018 6. Gravity Rush 1 and 2 7. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves 8. Chrono Trigger 9. Super Smash Bros (Entire Series) 10. Yakuza 0 11. Tales of Berseria 12. Octopath Traveler 13. Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War 14. BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle 15. Mirrors Edge
Off the top of my head and out of boredom.
Robot Arena 2 would be in a legacy category. A part of a number of games that hold significance to me but I will never go back. Another examples like that would Goldeneye 007 and Portal.

I said to my Dad back in 2005-2006 "Hey can you find any Robot Wars games that aren't the ones I've played!(which was all of them).
He found it I played and enjoyed it despite not being able to defeat EMERGENCY for another 6 years or so..... Not the coolest story but still a story nonetheless.

Even though I'm not predominantly active I'll throw my hat into the ring. A few opinions will be similar to others.
A few things I would like to see:
1. A redesigned website and logo.
This will be considerably controversial but I do think the design of the website needs an overhaul. It's simple to use yes but I just think that visually the website isn't appealing. Yes you can choose themes but doesn't really add much.
However that logo seriously needs modernising. As a way to generate creativity I would like to see a competition for the community to see who could design a new logo.
2. RA2 Wiki integrated into the Website and reimagined. Personally I like the RA2 wiki cause it can be helpful but outside of an FAQ about the game, information about key members and tourneys and stuff like weapon types it can be thrown out or archived.
A proposal would be a history of the game and its community placed in a side section while the FAQ could replace the RA2 Wiki tab.
3. and I hate this one: Discord or Subreddit integration. As what a few have said the truth is that forums are becoming a thing of the past and while the forum has fought against the odds of being alive this long without needing to change the tune much, we need to modernise. The simple way is to change the forum into something like a Reddit-esque forum or like a few have said integrate Discord.
4. Bring back Playground or an equivalent. That is simple even though I remember it for a good while were most people posted. Still it should be brought back.
And thus my thoughts. It won't get heard as much but here goes.

I see GTM as GTM. While it's not as busy as it used to be, it's still one of the most comfortable places to be on the internet these days. Visiting here is like visiting an old eatery, you see it slowly change over the years with people coming and going but the heartbeat will always be the same.
I haven't had a look at Discord but I prefer here. It's easier and more easily accessible.

Has anyone mentioned the Doom reboot soundtrack?
As someone who has the game both for PS4 and Switch, I don't find the music as memorable apart from one of the themes which I cannot remember what it is called. Plays in the first level. Also two quick selections from me. Blue Reflection - Sayonara. This is its final boss theme suprising, very different from the usual. Can imagine laying in a field listening to this, watching the clouds go by. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - You Will Know Recall Our Names. Can feel the encouragement from this.

Looking through my old library of bots, the bot I'd be most proud of would be one of my MW popups, Etro's Champion: Another one would be my Thumpernail LW VS series: Lastly would be the one I wished I had entered in a tournament: Cherry Blossom Murder Season. It is also the last bot I have built so about 3 and a half years back.

My deepest condolences of what happened to you. I can't imagine the feeling of what you're going through.
Short story but hopefully relevant. A few months back I went to America and there I had a life changing conversation with someone. In short it was about stop thinking about only yourself and your own problems, try and help out others.
However there was one part that really changed me. The person said this;
"Remember this, everyone has got their own demons. Some will speak about it and some won't. This is the important bit. The moment they ask for your ear or your help though, you must and you must help them all you can. You can help be that persons pillar of support"
Now I haven't had something like that happen to me personally but I have been the role of being someones pillar of support who has experienced something like this. You made a good choice to open your voice here. You asked us to lend our ears and on an online forum like this I think it's very brave of you. As a forum we'll lend as many ears and voices to help you get over this troubled time of your life.
And personally as a stranger to another all I can say is this; sadly not even a god can turn back time but you can live on not only for yourself, but for her as well. Going down that road of dark thoughts is dangerous, that is learning from having went down it.
There is always a dawn at the end of the night. Once the dawn breaks you'll have become a stronger person like what Fracture has said. Don't let the demons overcome you.
And if you need the forum to listen, we'll lend our ears.

Hi all. So having had a look through the forum and trying to find ways for myself to become a bit more active I thought I'd make a screenshot thread in which we showcase our favorites from other games and talk about them. That and one of my favourite things to at this age is photography both in gaming and in real life. A quick few I've took recently: Final Fantasy XV: Shadow of the Colossus Remake: Assassins Creed Origins: Megadimension Neptunia VII: Did some Image Editing for it. So that's a few I've shown to hopefully kickstart the thread. What do you think of them and hopefully others can showcase their own screenshots from what they've been playing as well.

A quick few more from myself this time it's vocals only.
Steins Gate - Masquerade
Persona 5 - The Whims of Fate
Gravity Rush - Douse Shinundakara
Fire Emblem Fates - The End of the Road Should be Here
A few of my favourite vocal songs. Would have put Nier Automata's Weight of the World but someone beat me to it.
Also changing topic name to something better.

Seeing Nier Automata around here and I am impressed I must say. I think its one of the best OSTs in recent memory.
A few pieces I've been listening to over the past few months.
Fire Emblem Echoes - Twilight of the Gods.
Yakuza 0 - Opening Theme
The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki - Get Over The Barrier
Final Fantasy XV - Clash on the Big Bridge (Done by same composer as Nier Automata)
Persona 5 - Rivers in the Desert.
Have a 200 song playlist for listening while working so might show a few more in the future.

Visiting and saw this so I spent an hour in Photoshop making my own signature for the card. And I guess this is making up for missing the 10th anniversary even though I was more active back then. Couldn't make it the way I wanted to cause blend tool is a pain so this will do. I'm barely here these days but I hope you guys would want it in if you like it.
