I always set them to WASD. And sometimes it inverts controls. Should I get a clean DSL Copy and just send my bots to it? I really have nothing saved I cant live w/o.
You can, but if it's what you said with inverted controls, try re-wiring "Forward" and try again.

Its DSL 2.1, I added the robots Tommy put up for download in the replica thread, and now it's messed up.
Did you wire it correctly? does it turn towards you when you approach it?
What do you mean by wiring correctly? It just drives backwards the entire time, it turns around immediately I think.
Hmmm... I think you may have set the turning of the motors weird. Try the verson of the bot you uploaded and try it in the test garage. Also, is it set to WASD? That might be a problem.

a few thing you can look at
1: is it wired correctly?
2: if you're on the DSL3 beta, all the wheels go in the opposite direction for some reason.
also some more description would be nice.

It MIGHT be possible, but very difficult. My best guess is PyRA2, but I couldn't get it to work.
Also, off topic, but I think a PyRA2 beginner's guide would be nice.

Made a weird hybrid today  DSA, 2 black, 32 razors, 16 on each system, 3 blue snappers, and 4WD HPZ. When I AI it, the ramming rack fires downwards, messing with popups.

Download Apanx's bot exporter, and it'll tell you all the numbers of the weps. You may have to download and install a file for windows though.

Because I was more lenient back then but I want higher quality bots now and it just isn't going to cut it. It breaks the realistic rule because the weapons have no supports.

I can understand the HW, but the SHW (despite flack for wedges) was accepted in a previous BB tourney. Why not now? It maybe a mess, but it doesn't break the realistic rule.

A DSL1 tournament/BOTM seems appropriate, and I like RFS' idea.
I'm confident in AI'ing now (at least simple omni bindings) and would be willing to host it, but I think it would be better off if a major league tournament user could do it, because I think more than 16 entries would be entered.

On October 3rd, 2004, we lost Lu-Tze. She changed how RA2 works today. If it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have some notable arenas, fun custom components, or maybe even the DSL mod. And the tenth anniversary of her passing is coming up, so I thought in the meantime we could brainstorm on how we would dedicate October 3rd, 2014 to her. Thoughts, words of wisdom, and any other means of expression are welcome.

According to a glitch found (IDR who found it) The positions for bots 3 and 4 are in nowhere. Changing that would require editing the .gmf i believe. Feel free to correct me.
