Tried a couple of times with the Firestorm skin. It's not looking good so far. The shading required is rather odd, non-conventional. Bad for me because I'm not the best at shading. Gave up in the end and made this abomination of a simplistic, shadeless placeholder. Kill it with Fire!...storm EDIT: See what a difference a 4pt Hue difference stagger pattern makes:

Currently Listening to the ending theme from Final Fantasy XIII-3
Everytime I listen to this theme I always think of this:
"As the last bus of the day passes through the village you give your friend who before the couple of days you stayed with her you had not seen for 5 years prior, a goodbye hug with a promise that you will meet again soon. You step on the bus and get your ticket. As the sun starts to set while the bus journeys through a countryside reminiscent of Western Europe back to your hometown you think how wonderful this new world truly is....."
I am crying inside writing this.
It is one of the stunning examples of the musical styling that goes into Final Fantasy. XIII-2 always tends to affect me with its music as well. Usually "Village and Void" and "Eclipse". Meanwhile, I'm listening to this:

Now I'm really stuck on getting a Wii U or PS4. What are you people going to get for next-gen?
Xbox One for me. There's just too much coming out on it that looks either incredible, part of a long-running or favourite series of mine, or very interesting. Therefore Halo Master Chief Collection, Halo 5, Scalebound, Sunset Overdrive, Crackdown, Forza Horizon 2 (Because it's gonna look bloody amazing on the One compared to the 360), and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

I hope they speed up Ike's attacks in Smash. If not, I will be very disappointed that I'm then restricted to Marth for FE characters.

Scalebound looked interesting, and Sunset Overdrive looked absolutely hilarious.
I think I'm finally sold on the Xbox One, with Halo 5 (Keith David returning as Arbiter, finally), Crackdown, and I'm guessing the next Tomb Raider will be on the Xbox One only, as well.
Fire Emblem Awakening characters in Smash pls Nintendo.

Was Crackdown ever fun?? I played the second one and it was pretty meh for me.
Crackdown was always amazing. This new one looks like it's advancing much more than with Crackdown 2.

I think I'm gonna change my MC skin to IRW's Panic Attack. I've gotten bored of Captain Falcon.
I'm glad someone wants to use it. I'm not entirely happy with the arms, though :/

I'm hoping they put in at least Chrom from Fire Emblem Awakening. If not, they'll keep Ike on. I'm ok with that.

On an unrelated note here is a video I found on the internet
pretty spooky
is that the work of the guy?
It's one of John Bergeron's Singing Robots. I never found them that creepy, but it's understandable why they are. Smile.jpg

DP First iteration of Panic Attack skin. Welcome to suggestions for changes. EDIT: Nevermind, looks like transparency has been kept in the key areas. Head accessory should work, then.

For Panic Attack, I was thinking of maybe doing the black and yellow skirting as the legs, the front as the face (obviously, the design of the front is a face anyway), but I'm considering either doing the top design of the robot on the top of the head, or on the torso. If not on the torso, then I don't know what I'll do there. Possibly the 'Panic Attack' decals just above the skirting.

Not sure how well they'd translate into minecraft skins

DP
I'm bored and have nothing else to do this week, so if people want to ask for MC skin requests, I might possibly maybe be able to do them if I can be bothered.
Possibly.
maybe.
No guarantee that you'll be happy with the quality they are made to.

Final Fantasy XIII-2
Bought the soundtrack recently. Bloody good.
What is your favourite theme on it?
Caius's Theme is up there, but so is Limit Break. Worlds Collide is good as something different from usual Final Fantasy music, but it doesn't have the right feel.
I would definitely say Historia Crux and Eternal Plains which remind of Real Emotion and 1000 Words from X-2 (I'm a big fan of Japanese Pop music) but also Worlds Collide and Noel's Theme.
The Aggressive Mix for Eternal Plains is quite odd, but enjoyable. And of course there's always Serendipity and All Or Nothing
