you will need 3 analog controls:
one wired to *'s to move forward\backward
one wired to +'s to strafe
one wired to all four to turn\spin
EDIT: bah, the fig wouldn't turn out right...
Also, i would get lighter hammers to get more power.

Pivot is a dirt simple stick figure animator. It saves stuff a .gif's. and by using the Use Bitmap As Background tool, you should be able to do animations of other stuff. its free, get Pivot here: http://pivot-stickfigure-animator.en.softonic.com/
