hmm my bot falling out of the arena was the matter of progressing to round 2 or getting knocked out and the timer was on 0 I would call that unlucky but sure im happy to pass the tittle on to whoever comes next True that is very unlucky, but I was referring more towards unlucky match ups. That's where Ian says his bad luck came into play. Still, now that I think about why don't hold on to that title for now.

Well that was fast. Great matches, easily the best. The fact that Seism 13 won also increases the chances that it and Heaven's Sawmill will meet, and I really want to see the two BeetleBros fight each in a BBEANS tournment.
I'm not sure the next quarter's matches though, they could be good but they also be bad.
As for me, I've got to hope for the best and win at least match in the loser's bracket.

Some matches were better than I orginally thought they would be. I can't wait for the next quarter, I expect that will the best matches (Seism 13 vs. Mace in da Face, The Emanicpator vs. Cardiac Arrest, I'm really looking forward to) of round 1 will come from there.

I wonder if thats what those Battlebots founder people thought it would actually become when they started it. The founders of Battlebots would not think that. Battlebots started in 1999, but the first Robot Wars started in 1994 in the United States. The two founders of Battlebots, Greg Munson and Trey Roski were competiors in the all but the "original" Robot Wars USA's first season. They certainly would not have seen the compeition as the poster ACAMS posted (which was probaly just for publicity to draw specators). The reason why Robot Wars moved to England and why Battlebots was started is too complex for to write off the top of my head, so I recommend visting Team Nightmare's website for that info. Or you could watch some of the fights from that time on youtube. .

Overall the matches were good but only one truly suprised me (congrats to R1885). I have a bad feeling, unfournately, that the 2nd quarter's matches won't be quite as exciting.

This is so ridiculus.... Agreed. As SD said, Sage's bot is not invincible, it can be beaten. If Click thought it was against the rules, he would have rejected it and told Sage. But he didn't. Click accepted the bot into his tournment and we should respect that decision.

There are about 21 matches in the round 1, Click usually does 16 for a torunment in the first round. So proably more than a week.

I warn you: some of you aren't going to like your opponents. Somebody has to fight Naryar in the first round, after all. Yeah, it ended up as me. Well, hopefully I'll do better in the loser's bracket because I'll be flying there.

Let's see here, about 20 I fear, maybe 10 at best I think I can easily beat, the rest I'm netural too. Should be good.
