Couldn't you easily use a 90 degree baseplate anchor and put the motors in the front to make it invertible? I guess I could do that, but wouldn't that make the weapon motors even more exposed? It almost never get flipped around as it is either, so it's not that much of a problem.

I'm bored of making crap MW face spinners now, so I rather start off my showcase.
First bot out is Lil Spinner.
Pros: -Stable -Short spin up time. -DSA
Cons: -Exposed weapons/wheels -Not invertible

I'm in as long as it doesn't start before the 27th, as that's when I'm back on a computer. And to be honest it doesn't seem to start before that time.

I can't enter with the new version Oggie, too late... See this post what is this all about : (The To ClickB part...) Yes, it's too late now, but you could have updated it a long time after you entered it (until Clickbeetle posted the splash).

You were allowed to update your entry Venko, as long as it was basically the same bot with only minor updates. And as far as I can see, it is (the same HS with added ramplates).

I don't got much else to do with my spare time, so you can add me to the list.

not enough HS's imo :P And thank god for that. Looking forward to this tournament, and reading what ppl thinks about the bots (if someone takes the time to write about all 53). Makes the time go faster while working night :D

could you not use the side of the extender coming off the first motor to face the next extender straight down and have them chained that way? You can, but they won't stack very well. Usefull if you have problem with the rule of 7, but can be a problem if you want to make it invertible.

If I'm right it's 3 extenders set up to make an equilateral triangle. In other words 60 degrees between each of the extenders, using the attachment points on the side.

I like the idea of stacking them like that. Gotta try making something with it sometime :)

The first 4 lines of "Big Cat" sums it up quite nicely, but "Lurker" ain't totally wrong either.

With 48 bots we will get 16 matches with 2 bots, and 16 matches with a bye. So it's not possible that 32 bots get a bye in the first round. Also all of the loosers in the first round will get a bye in the first round of loosers bracket.

Prolly. Didn't find any other post about it. Nor did I find it on beetlebros page, so I thought it was unknown. It's cool combined with the trinity tho, but kinda hard to do in a fight.

Found a new glitch when I was trying to make a bot today. Parts needed: -motherboard -servo (only tested the weak one) -tribar -weapons
Put the motherboard and the servo in the chassis, add the tribar on the servo angled down, add weapons of choice and vire the servo. Now use the servo to turn the tribar exactly 180 degrees, and it will start to spinn out of controll. Almost like the trinity glitch. To stop it just turn the tribar a bit more. For som real spinning action add pistons on the tribar for a trinity effect on top of the other glich. No need for battery.
Should be used with a large chassis so the weapons spinn, not the chassis.
Only tested in Stock, but didn't feel like making a new thread.

I will. Prolly start off with the old ones which I thought were good (won agains stock and on LAN), and continue with the newer ones.
